Hands down my most favorite game of the year so far. The only ones I see topping it are Infamous 2, Batman, Uncharted and Skyrim. A pretty solid top 5 list if you ask me.
After sitting on the fence I have decided to pick this one up. I really hope it's got a Heavy Rain style story to it and not just about the facial features. Also, I reeeeeeally hope the 8 square mile city isn't just there for aesthetic purposes. I want to interact. Nothing chaps my hide more than a beautiful city that has minimal interaction.
Rumor has it you can download it online and update off a flash drive. I didnt have a problem doing it online but if you are I would recommend trying the other way.
Well there is an upside. Take Demon's Souls for example. Game was a sleeper hit, yet, by making a great game the sequel should sell well. Also, it moved to both platforms. This is why I will always spend money and purchase a game like this where I will always rent/gamefly COD and the likes.

Hands down, GOML (Game of My Life). I've stockpiled vacation time and weaseled out of visiting the family this holiday and therefore, will be spending a solid week with this game. Starting with standing in line for the midnight release.
I can't decide if this game is going to be good or not. The insane animations and story sound awesome. Driving 20 minutes with no freeways does not. I usually never go off reviews but I am going to really pay attention to them for this one.
Regardless, once Infamous 2 drops my summer will be complete.

I thought the original was perfect just the way it was. Every time a dev goes for major changes the game gets all fucked up. I hope I am wrong but this would be like Metallica, back in the 80's putting out a "Metal Noir" CD with a new singer instead of Master of Puppets.

They do look pretty good. I'm an avid PS3 owner but I am considering buying one just for this game. I'm still pissy about buying the 4GB 360 for Halo reach and then finding out that I could not play coop with my kid and nephew because the 4gb flash memory would not work. I had to either mod an old hard drive and void my warranty or drop $100 on a new one? Don't think so. Went on craigslist after campaign was beat.

Agreed. I loved the part at the beginning where he says to look up or something by hitting "X" and when you jump he's all, "OK, that's jumping. You jumped there. Not looking up".

OT. Honestly, it hasn't been a big deal. I did Portal 2 splitscreen with a buddy and on a 60 inch DLP it was fine. My next game(s) are LA Noir, then Infamous 2 so I really don't need MP until Resistance and then...Battlefield.
Regardless, once Skyrim drops my life as I know it ends.

No offense, but some people like to keep stuff and others simply do not. I prefer to have the latest and greatest and I hate clutter. Once I burn through something and there is no re-playability for me then I sell it. Things get old, lose their appeal and if you can get rid of it and collect a little cash then all the better.
