I still think Snake Eater is the most emotional game ever. The end of MGS3 almost made me cry. I never thought a game would do that to me but it did and the music was undoubtedly a big part in that. The end of MGS4 is really emotional too and I think the Old Snake song captures it perfectly. I think my personal favourite from the whole serious would be 'The best is yet to come' from the first game (also used on act 4 of MGS4)
I am so pleased to see a positive review for this game, hopefully they all will be. Since Silent Hill seems to have been a disappointment with the critics I think this will be my survival horror of choice
Something for the Wii then, or just a casual game for people who think they are gamers but actually aren't.
I have both consoles and I am torn between which version to get but tbh I am more interested in which version runs better. I never played Oblivion on ps3 but I heard it ran a lot better than the 360 version. Also about the DLC yeah its crap that its 360 only but thats what everyone said about GTA4. I have GTA on the XBOX but I doubt I will be shelling out cash on the DLC. Will anyone else be buying it?
Same goes for Fallout, by the time the DLC is released there will be another...
I don't need to play the demo to know I want this game, but I just want the chance to play it a couple weeks early. Plus it will be good practice for designing the levels.
Another average review for what I was hoping to be an great game. Still I am gonna keep positive. I don't think linear gameplay is really an issue with horrors as I kinda want to be forced into going through the door that looks scary and not have the option to go off and come back to it later. I don't know which console I will pick it up for yet, I cant see there being any major differences between 360 and PS3. Hopefully it will have Trophies for the ps3 version to make it an even closer call...

First come first serve would be a dream but they never do it cuz they know they will get more people submitting if it's randomized. I have decided I'm not gonna bother trying to get a beta key anymore, there are just too many people trying to get one. Which is definitely a good thing in the long run as LBP will only be as good as its following once the pre created levels are completed.

There are several games for each console that I am really looking forward to playing, however I must admit the list for the PS3 is considerably larger. There is no doubt that Gears 2 will sell like hot cakes though, we all know it will sell more than Resistance 2 but that doesn't mean it will be better. Cliffy B is an ass but he makes a good game.
Didn't his father say he made $300 from selling his WoW character. Thats enough for a 360 anyway right so why sell the PS3. unless he foolishly bought back all his old games aswel. The kid sounds like a spoilt bratt tbh, I'm suprised he didn't just spit his dummy out and make his mum and dad buy him all 3 consoles to begin with.

I haven't tried anything on there yet but it seems to be working fine now. I downloaded the Pure demo fine. Not seeing any changes so I guess its just more preparation for the dash update. I was hoping to see a new dash when I turned it on before but no dice. Ah well I'm not too bothered about the 'Mii's anyway. Just another way of getting more money out of us when they start charging us for clothes as I see it
I have both consoles and for FPS or shooters in general the xbox really does work better. My main gripe with the PS3 controller is the triggers, they kinda feel a bit half arsed. They don't quite feel like triggers but they aren't just shoulder buttons. I can see why Activision switched the shoulder button functions around with the PS3 version of CoD4 (ie R1 & L1 to fire the weapon and aim down the sight instead of the triggers). Also I think they should swap the placing of the left analo...
it's that the worlds media will do anything to vilify the gaming industry. This is obviously either a complete coincidence or a spin on an act that had only good intentions at heart. Either way you can't blame Bungie. It wouldn't suprise me if the people at Bungie had never heard of her, sure everyone in the UK and western Europe knows who she is but there were no links to the USA so no real reason to publicise it there, plus I am sure they have plenty of their own kidnapping cases to report ...
I signed up on the official site ages ago and it said on there it was 360 and pc only. I'm not that fussed about getting on the beta though to be honest. I am on the SOCOM beta and yeah it's pretty fun playing a game that isn't out yet but its as buggy as hell and doesn't look very good. The main reason I do play it is because it's helping the developers fix those bugs and hopefully the final build will be a game worth buying.
Also as stated above, CoD5 isn't really that high ...
I know the rest of the year is gonna be an awesome time for gamers everywhere. I really can't wait for this and Fallout 3, but pretty much all the releases on the ps3 and 360 and peaking my interest. Gotta say I was sorry to hear the review for Silent Hill in the other article, I was hoping for a return to SH2 form. Ahh well seeing a little Sac Joker riding a catherine wheel cheered me up. Plus, user created content is only going to keep improving as people get to grips with it.
The song Snake Eater was written by hideo himself. I expect the other were either written by him or other Japanese people.
