@Truefan those developers have praised what DX12 can do for PC gaming not X1 as low level programming has happened on consoles for years that is why consoles always improve over time. I suggest the author of this piece (how the hell did it get approved) goes and visits the Naughty dog website and watches the uncompressed 1080p video for TLOU. It is looking fantastic.
I have to agree that Microsoft does have an identity problem with X1 especially now that Kinect is not bundled in. The likes of Truefan and GeorgeNoob would have nothing to do all day if they didn't have to defend it all the time and actually highlights there is an issue.

I agree especially with 10% boost from dropping Kinect, these performance gains are not unusual within a consoles lifetime. Sony will also shrink its footprint on system resource over time as it has done with every PS. But like this change from Microsoft we will not see the benefits for another 12 plus months.
No but that was the only thing that interested me.
The problem in Japan was the PS4 had not released to get key benefit. Whilst there are no big Jap PS4 games the situation will remain the same. I have one and use it all the time.
@ Jdoki, Whilst at home it displays at either 720p or 1080i (which is fine as using a 32" screen.) Quality is excellent even though router is some distance away from Vita TV. Latency is also very low.
I have also streamed from outside my home both UK and abroad. Also loaned it to Nephew so he could play on my PS4 when I was away with work. Both performed really well. I definitely recommend purchasing one when they release just hoping the open Vita TV to use EU account...
If VR is going to be viable they need be working together and setting VR industry standards otherwise we will end up format war issues.
Hoping Titanfall 2 has more replayability, whilst fun Titanfall gets boring quickly.
I have a Vita TV and PS4, I use it all the time so I can remote play on another screen while my girlfriend watches main TV.
Microsoft e3 lacked any surprises and anything game footage. All the press since e3 has focused on no man's sky, bloodborn and zelda. I was really disappointed with microfilm as I thought they would have some bigger guns than timed dlc and an exclusive from platinum (who's games although great have historically not commercially successful.) look how well dark souls 1 & 2 have sold as a sign of intent from Sony with bloodborn being exclusive. I don't believe they have finished the development of the system, probably just the spec has been finalised as they were still looking at oled last were heard (which is a must have if Morpheus is going to be worthwhile.)

To be fair Sony have not claimed it was running on a PS4 they just showed a video of the gameplay and it is a multiplatform game. Microsoft were showing an exclusive x1 game on a higher spec PC telling us it was running on x1 then the changed there story to an equally powered PC and then when forza released the graphics where downgraded. Remember Jimmy Fallon playing Forza on X1?
He has also got the PS4 GPU speed wrong its 1.84 not 1.31
Owning all 3 next gen systems I would say buy a PS4 first I use it daily where as the other two not so much (WiiU used first time in 5 months for Mario Kart.) Strangly I find the PS4 more similar to a xbox 360 than the x1 is, if you worry about moving from Microsoft to Sony. This is not to say X1 is not a good console it is, the majority of games 80% of all games released are multiplatform so it makes sense to purchase them on the machine the gives more polish & stability.
I think this is hilarious, only earlier today I responded to one of truefans ridiculous comments about dx12 giving x1 a 10-20% performance boast and I reminded him again it was to allow low level access to pic and would offer x1 very little. Would love to see his face now! And cannot belive he is claiming he never said any of that crap
