Sony never paid for final fantasy, it was because Nintendo would not switch from expensive cartridge manufacture that also lacked memory that dc could offer! And tomb raider appeared on dreamcast and PC so Sony never paid for that exclusive!
There was no ranting as No mans Sky has never released on any platform before it could possibly be cr@p. You are comparing apples to oranges. Its more like Gears of War becoming a Playstation exclusive, Tombraider has been on PS for over 15 years.
I am sure this will be cleared up within the next few hours. We know that the game was in development for PS4 and PC also so I cant see it as being permanent.
All that says is its coming holiday 2015 exclusively to xbox not that its a permanent exclusive.
Couldn't agree more, its up there with The Last of us for me! Unfinished Swan is also excellent for those that have not played it!

Its very different, nobody has played No mans sky and there is no established fan base on any platform. Sony have took a chance on Hello Games and No mans sky and that could backfire if the game is not up to scratch. Where as historically there are millions of Tomb Raider user on PC and PS.

Tomb raider was the only bombshell they dropped everything else was more of the same and a rollercoaster building game. And does anyone else think that Forza Horizon 2 sounds more like Driveclub more and more?

It was in development for PS4 and PC also. Microsoft wording was that it is coming to Xbox one exclusively holiday 2015. It will come in 2016 for everyone else.
The comments on CD post are all very negative with only a handful of people with any praise for this decision. Its is coming to PS4 and PC just not holiday 2015. It is still published by SE not Microsoft.
No I didn't as it was announced for PC as well as PS4. I did however say I would not be surprised if Sony tried to buy the rights.
Its in development for PS4 that was announced at E3, so its definitely timed exclusive. I am guessing it releases in Aug - Oct 2015 and will hit PS4 Jan-Apr 16 hence why they said coming to xbox one exclusivly in 2015.
Yeah it makes no sense when SE where bemoaning lack of sales of previous Tomb Raider. Also SE were part owned by Sony up until a few weeks back!
I think this is bad news for gamers, really annoyed if this is the future of gaming, throwing money about to buy a game exclusive/ timed exclusive just alienates gamers all the more. Also weird that Tomb raider is closer associated with Playstation brand historically. I think this is a step to far for Microsoft.
Hopefully this will better than previous Insomniac games. They always seems to be missing something not sure what exactly to be fair they are always good i.e Resistance 1-3 but never brilliant or system sellers.

Yeah announced nothing other than tearaway, wild, hellblade and until dawn and a mass other exclusive indies such as rime unlike Microsoft who announced a load of multiplats!
