Used to love Wake Island on BF1943, but I'm just not getting on with it in BF3. Would prefer to see some smaller maps with less emphasis on tank / helicopter combat, but guess I'm in a minority there
Thanks for the comments, as you can imagine it's difficult to cover every game and these are just the picks of one of our writers. So it's always good to discuss other choices in the comments :-)
Rest assured we are fans of the more niche games so expect plenty of previews and reviews in the months to come (as long as they get UK releases of course).
As a huge Studio Ghibli fan I'm really excited for Ni no Kuni, will probably import it from the US...
It was sounding great until I saw the word 'Gymkhana' in there!
All joking aside ... in a world where the likes of GT5 and Forza take themselves pretty seriously, this could be a lot of fun indeed. Destruction Derby was a great laugh back in the day!
I'm all for interesting and unique games, but El Shaddai was a very shallow experience. Behind the beautiful visuals was a dull combat system and a weak story. It didn't deserve better, it should have been a better game.
