This article was written before the interview you reference, plus the interview you’re actually referencing isn’t exactly clear.
The article refers to an industry-wide tension, not necessarily between Days Gone and Anthem. I do agree in re: to Anthem though, it looks like it desperately needs creative direction.
I hope it reaches funding, there definitely seems to be decent depth to the puzzles.
I'd welcome more games exploring Asian history in general, so the Mongol conquest of China is a great choice, particularly when you factor in how Mongol warfare will translate into Soulsborne gameplay.
It's a shame companies are relying on the Cthulhu mythos to carry their games without offering something new these days. 2018 has been packed with them, so I'd hate to see the genre run into the ground.
The article, from OnlySP, was put up before that interview. It’s no question of trust, the site used information that was available at the time. You can’t report a site for not having access to a time machine. Also, in no way did I infer I trusted the tweet more, merely that the interview itself is shaky. Go plug your stuff somewhere else.
