Most of those games were being made before sony's bad sales were fully understood. Look at the current software trends for both sony consoles. Both are struggling to sell Japanese games to Japanese people. You cant spin that the future will be better. THe PS4 has been out for a year and Half. It has had so many games made for it to appeal to Japanese gamers and it is not selling.The VIta is also dropping in Sales. PS4 and Vita are pretty much done in Japan FF14 sold only 35K on ps4 and the latest Persona 4 game only managed 100k on Vita. Both those figures are really bad. In comparison the last DQx expanseion on Wii u did 105k first week. And the New FE game has sold over 400k. It is not just the sales of consoles that matter it is the amount of software a console pushes and right now sony consoles are not selling games.
This game was probably started before Se knew how few PS4s would sell in Japan. I mean.. The last FF14 installment has only sold 35K.. SE Cant be happy with that. Looking at sales of the new Persona 4 game on Vita is pretty depressing too. Outsold by FE if by 4 times.

Well, DqX is on PC and wii. So its sales were split. The PC market in Japan is really expanding. For example FF14s latest installment has sold far more on PC than ps4.

DQH was a bought exclusive. It was in no way related to the future of DQ. With DQ8 on the 3ds one can argue that DQH is a blip. If SE really cares abut money DQ11 will be a 3ds game.

Not sure. What we saw was not final build and the stuff they showed of later levels looked more polished.. What we saw was an alpha build that did not crash or have any bugs. There are 6 months until this game releases.

Xbox and ps3 sales have not been good though... so.. not that many gamers are on xbox 360. Just think that gamers bought new editions of xboxs and ps3 when they released. So ... some people owned 2-3 last gen.. the 80 million install base was sort of false.
It pretty much has peaked. If you look at sales have dropped by 18% with most gamers already moved to current gen where are the new customers coming from.. Gaming peaked gen 6 and 7.

The ps4 was at 22 million in January so... Lol.. It finally hit 23million.. every one accepts that the wii u sold like crap.. What has happened to the PS4 this year.. selling like crap. It will never make 40 million at this rate and that is a disaster for a company that has no money.
It is pretty depressing the way Nintendo of America is. What I want to say is, exactly what was said by Nintendo, America is not the only market and Nintendo is a world wide company. I cant play Arkham Knight because of the terrible PC port. If it did release on PC in healthy condition I would still be playing Xenoblade x and Splatoon for now. I am not saying third party games are not missed by Nintendo on their home console, however you have to accept that the 3ds has great 3rd party support...
