Saw it in Japanese today. It's pretty cool. Not what you would expect from a FF title.
It's disappointing to see Gran Turismo also go this route. BS like Microtransactions need to stay in crap like FarmVille where they belong.
Ellie is probably my favourite female game character ever. She's also one of the deepest and well written characters in the entire medium.
3000? WTF? Idiots like this make me ashamed to be Irish. 700-800 euro/dollars would be a sufficient amount to build a PC more powerful than the one. Maybe even less.
I don't recall Uncharted 1 receiving massive amounts of hype. New IP's generally don't. Of course there's going to be massive amounts of hype for a new Uncharted now. It's one of gaming's best series and Naughty Dog are simply one of the top three development teams of all time in my opinion. I'm not going to get hyped for the order until I see some proper footage.
You're not getting disagree's for being positive about the one, (I'm a Sony fan and proud, but even I want all the consoles to do well) it's because you're hyping up a game you haven't even properly seen yet. Xbox fans have an awful habit of hyping the crap out of their exclusives, only for some of them to be rubbish like Ryse. At least wait till we've seen proper gameplay footage.

I also don't get the 'Ryse is the best looking of the launch titles' argument either. Granted, Ryse is a nice looking game, but so is God of War: Ascension. I'd even argue that GOW:A is more impressive when you take into account it's running on last gen hardware. Why am I bringing God Of War up? Because both titles make use of similar tricks to make the game look as good as possible, like a lack of camera control, linear corridors, and very few instances where you can back...
Why the hell can't we just have both? Console gaming is great, and so is PC gaming. Any true gamer will tell you that to experience gaming at its best, you need to have both. PS4 and PC for me this gen. Maybe steam box too, if its priced competitively.
I find it utterly disgusting how most people will pass on this game, and yet will happily rush out to get the new COD on day 1. This game will be lucky to reach 250'000 sales, and that's a real shame. Support developers like Media Molecule people.
He's such a loveable guy. How could you not want to support PS4 with guys like him and Jack Tretton running things? These guys are proper gamers. The guys at MS couldn't care less about hardcore gaming.

Why would they be? You do realise the whole reason Sony is pushing indies this gen is so you'll always have something to play while you wait for the big triple AAA releases.
How exactly does the PS4 look weak? Xbox one has Dead Rising 3 and Killer Instinct. PS4 has Killzone and Resogun. Everything else so far has been average at best. Plus, Sony have over a dozen studios working on First party exclusives. It's way too early to start declaring any kind of winner.

Can't believe that garbage went on for 3 hours. If it had been an hour and they had just quickly gave out the awards and showed the trailers, it would have been a lot more bearable.
