Not sure if that's sarcasm at the end or not.
VR will support 90% less games than 3D Vision...
40fps in a demo with just a head, no texture, no world, no AI, no input.
To put things into perspective, about 30K people have pledged. If that many bought the game, it would be a huge disaster.
Obviously, pledging before a game is made is different to gamers seeing a finished game and deciding whether it's worth a purchase but there have been so many massive pledges on the Kickstarter page that it makes the popularity look bigger than it really is.
The game looks like a next gen Croc really. Very basic, no need to fight enemi...
Really should have the 'advertisement' tag and not the news one.
Since every link is an affiliate link without the article declaring so.
LMAO absolutely cringeworthy.
From the guy that brought you 'stupid-long' and 'ugly ass' to describe Bloodborne.
Top notch journalist that one.
Of course reviewers (and PS4 haters) are being too harsh.
Why?
Because only a couple years back a 'game' with some of the most simplistic and uninspired gameplay ever (The Walking Dead) won a number of Game of the Year awards.
It was ok because 'that's the style of game'. So why is it not ok with The Order?
Simple. So much of the media these days want to see Sony fail. They want to get hits for hating on ...
Still don't understand the fascination with all these 8K and 16K screens popping up. Yeah if it makes an image look nice, fine but 90% of the time (you only have to look at the GAF PC screenshot thread for this) it is people showing crazy res screens of shitty looking textures.
Well when you remake the same games over and over again, you'd think there'd be room for some sort of original idea. I guess the moustache was all Nintendo could come up with.
What a silly article.
Driveclub was always going to be a smaller/lesser version for the free version.
Late but correct.
Live looks weird, but plays a better game of basketball than (the amazing looking) 2K14.
And just shows that 99% of gaming sites who reviewed it, just quickly judged a book by its cover.
Characters look like Spec Ops the line and my god, why does every game and every movie have to use that exact same ship model with the round blades on each side?
So uninspired. But hey, it's COD so no surprise.
I may be wrong, but isn't the animation super limited by digitized characters?
Like, they can only do whatever motions were captured. No smooth linking to other moves, cancels, dynamic animations on blocks etc.
It would look as robotic as the original and that wouldn't stack up these days.
I still don't see anything in that trailer that hasn't been done before.
But everyone will buy it, hate it, complain then buy the next one.
So why show high detailed views of the inside of a car you stole just to get people excited.
Last boss spoiler...
Prot takes you to KPAX where you meet his leader and learn of it's invasion plans.
It's doesn't look like the old engine.
It looks good but not great. Not a 'omg this must be next gen' type graphics.
@Bimkoblerutso
Sadly, Tony Jay has since passed away.
But I agree, the best story and voice acting ever in a videogame.
Looks good and all but ripping car models from other games (albeit making it cool to play in GTA) is not really your work...
Pretty sure that motion blur thing is only for GSync monitors.
