It's not just PSN. Halo Wars had a patch today, and it's not officially out in the UK until tomorrow. It's just the way of things now.
The controls were exactly the same in the beta, so I can't see how it's just a demo issue. It certainly does play differently from other FPS games, which isn't a bad thing in itself.
