All I know is that I'm not going to get burnt on buying another COD game till I can play before I pay.
Reach will be better anyways so I don't know why I'm sweating this game.
The COD 4 better was sick and it ended up making me purchase it day one. Now on the other hand WAW had some serious glitches in it that I just stopped playing. But I'm not a big fan of WWII weapons.
I'm not sure whether or not Activision would want a beta but by doing so you might be able to convince those jaded fans that they lost because of MW2 they might be able to bring back in.
MOH and BFBC2 had a MP demo, Reach had a demo; how can one of the biggest modern shoo...
I was in the COD4 and WAW betas. I really hope they decide to open it up for beta. I don't see why they wouldn't. WAW open beta was fun and I'm sure Treyarch was able to take quite a bit of MP data from it for the actual game.
IMO, if Treyarch fails to have one the MP part of the game is just gonna end up a big mess just like MW2 initial launch was.
I'm not saying it's gonna be perfect. But the bugs, glitches and weapon balancing can at least be tweaked....
Thanks but no thanks MS. If I wanted to use motion controls I'll wipe the inch of dust off my Wii and play it.
I want better games not party games.
When I turned on my PS3 this morning it wanted to update and usually it does take a decent amount of time but I've changed cable companies and my download speed has greatly increased.
Usually when I see a PS3 update I just let it download and flip back to whatever I was watching on TV. And when the light flashes after the download I go back click install and go back to watching TV again.
I do have one thing to say about the 360 and their updates. Their updates are usua...
Not much of a fighting fan but I've always enjoyed the MK games.
Definitely looking forward to this. Glad Warner Bros are giving this franchise another chance.
Oh and f*ck that site in its ugly face with their stupid pop ups.
You really should do research befor you come on here and spew comments. It just makes you look stupid and then people are just gonna tear you apart.
Just some words of wisdom. Do with it what you want.
I never liked the game types you were forced into in Halo 3 MP, but the Reach beta did a good job of removing those annoying game types and allowing you to see what you could vote for.
This is gonna be a day one; midnight launch purchase for me.
I can't wait to get owned by a bunch of profanity spewing kids in a few weeks. Oh how I love you XBL.
Let's see how Dan Amrich spins this.
The few friends I have on PSN all use headsets. I always wondered why Sony has included a headset in their consoles. I joined a clan for MW2 on the PS3 because my clan on the 360 were mostly full of foulmouthed douchebgs, but the clan ended up being full of guys who didn't have headsets. WTF! Seriously a clan with no headsets. I'm sure that is not normal but that's why I bought the PS3 version was to play with a different group of gamers. Kinda fail for me.

You're 23. Those games aren't directed at you anyways. It's directed more at the 28 to 36 crowd. The people that grew up with Zelda, DK, Mario and Kid Icarus.
People have been moaning for years for those games and Nintendo delivered at this years E3. IMO, they appeased the hardcore player and not the soccer mom. It was the hardcore's year for Nintendo.
MS not so much. Sony threw out both sides but MS went straight for the casual audience that doesn't ...
How can you be playing it "Right now" if you're posting on N4G. Dude, you must have some serious multi tasking skills.
Having played every Halo game and read all the books the games narrative has pretty much taken back seat to running and gunning.
For me, Halo was never about the story it was about the multiplayer. I see myself putting in hundred of hours into multiplayer with my son on Reach.
As far as a new Halo title, I don't see a new Halo title out for sometime. At least another year or so to give Reach legs plus you know there will be a few map packs to extend its life.
I...
On my 3rd playthrough. Bought a MS point card for Cerebus Network cause I was playing it thru Gamefly. Sent it back and shortly thereafter found a new copy of ME2 at the AAFES store in Tampa for $19.99 with a new code for Cerebus. What a waste of $15 but oh well.
I need to actually go and buy all the latest DLC so I can just knock it out on this playthrough. I don't think I could do a 4th playthru, not that this game isn't good; it is. GOTY edition for sure but I just c...
I was listening to a podcast this weekend and I remember them mentioning that Bungie might make another Halo game in 10 yrs. I didn't really think about it at the time but w/ this news it makes sense with the whole 10 year deal.
I can't even imagine what the Bungie.net forums are like this morning.
Can't wait to see what Dan Amrich has to say about this on his podcast.
I already pay money to be on XBL and they brag about all these features they give you for the price but companies want to charge us for a demo?
Have you freakin lost your damn mind? I struggle to buy 5 games a year and pay for Live.
I download demo's to see if I like them enough to warrant a purchase. I don't care if I have to go back through a play the same part in the release. Most demo's aren't even that long. Skate 3 is like 15 minutes long.
If they do charge for dem...
It's great to see some tweaking being done to the matchmaking aspect. I like Halo but the matchmaking aspect always kept me from truly loving the game.
You'd veto a map and then get stuck on something even worse. Another part was being forced into only sniper/battle rifle matches. Not saying those are bad, but I completely suck as both of those weapons. I like COD's way of putting you into a gametype and you determining your load out. From what I've seen and read it looks like Bung...
Arguing on the internet is like winning in the Special Olympics.
Even if you win you're still a f'n retard.
Some people around here take things way too seriously.
I'm so sick of hearing how the developers are being cheated out of the used market. GS basically gives the custuomer about20 to 25 back on in store credit which is ridiculous but that same customer takes that trade in credit and usually buys a new game or pre-orders a new game. You take those customers who can't afford to buy new games all time, you lose quite a bit of new game sells right there.
I haven't traded in a game in quite a while. I use online trading sites and normally get...
There huh? So it's not their? Yeah there games are boring./s you lose a bubble
