We all know Sony isn't going to launch next year and even if MS doesn't they will still launch before sony. There is no evidence whatsoever of Sony launching next year. As a matter of fact, their actions show they they are far from launching PS4. New hardware for PS3, PS vita is still trying to get a foothold, and still creating new IP's for PS3. I see no sign of a ps4 launch next year. I'm guessing they will launch in 2014 or later. They just can't afford to do it right n...

i think they may be a little too late. Next gen is just around the corner. At this point it really doesn't matter what they do with PS3. Nintendo is getting ready to launch their next console and MS will follow next with sony releasing in 2014. I really don't think Nintendo or MS is too concerned with PS3 sales right now.

Can't wait for the 720 or whatever it will be called. Every launch game will most likely be exclusive since it will be the only one launching next year. I know for a fact that just cause 3 and a Rare title will be among the exclusives.
Exclusives do matter but not as much as people think. Its not about the amount but more about what the exclusive is. The next gen we will definitely see less of them. This really doesn't bother me because I buy way more multi-plat titles . The next gen will be more about the services anyway. Yes, we will still get great games but more and more people are buying consoles because of the services because 95 percent of the games are on both sony and ms consoles. I hate to say it but exclusive...

An 8 is about right. There really isn't much of a difference from last year.
This is just more evidence of why they went after the NFL license. They know 2k football games will steal a big chunk of the Madden market.
It really doesn't matter anymore. There will be less of them in the coming generation anyway. MS's plan of a certain amount of exclusives backed by strong 3rd party really worked for them. I see no reason to change that. I'm satisfied because I really don't care who a game is published by. if the game is good the game is good.
It really doesn't matter because I will be playing the next xbox until they do release the PS4. That is if they decide to release it. Its no secret that Sony hasn't made any profits the last 5 years so they will push ps3 as a priority as long as they can. This doesn't mean they won't release a ps4 but its highly unlikely.
From the looks of things it looks like sony will do just that.
