I can concurr,it is overpriced at least in Australia where it retails for $649(no games or peripheries)and PS4 Pro is $499 with 2 games.There is a lot of biased mis-information and misleading re-posts from other contributers to try and get there point across.Apparently it's unusual to play games across multiple platforms,the concensus is you choose your side.
Monster Hunter World has better performance on Pro,there are several articles and YouTube videos (google ppl). Digital Foundry is not as credible as people think and they have retracted a few videos and articles,Redout springs to mind.thankyou

I think the visual aesthetic is nice but can't touch anything Guerilla Games or Naughty dog can produce these days

@ Prubar. Games have never been cheaper??maybe bcoz due to the introduction of loot boxes,dlc and microtransactions to the industry to make up the surplus.How old are you? I remember when games were way cheaper and I'm sure Switch owners would disagree with your bs

Some people "barely" noticed 900p vs 1080p, an equal amount also saw 900p vs 1080 as hideously obvious and who would play this 900p trash.
When you play at a higher resolution it's the small details that become a little more apparent. I played a lot of Destiny 2 on a Pro before the patch had released, I downloaded the Trial on a One X after the One X patch had released.
