Or maybe, just maybe, Alien is better as a motion picture and not a full length video game, not nearly enough variety as far as enemies go. I am one of the biggest Alien/Giger nerds out there, even have a Nostromo shirt and baseball cap, but enough is enough.
It was Futuremark that stated this, not MS.
Why does everyone keep saying that it's MS hyping DX12 and cloud? It's right the in plain english that Futuremark made these comments, and most articles I see are other companies commenting, not MS. If it has anything positive whatsoever to say you cockroaches are all over it.
Yes, just like yours and most N4G comments on DX12 and cloud.
I made the mistake of getting Watch Dogs for my PC, without listing specs, (Trust me, my PC is above mid range) it is a steaming, unoptimized pile of poo. I have to have it set to mid range and it still runs like garbage.
PS4 & Xbox One Won't Be Able To Match The Raw Power of A Decent Gaming PC, EVER: Futuremark
Fixed the headline, still don't care and love my consoles.
Good, maybe I will actually finish it. I love GTA and games like it but I rarely if ever "finish" them.
He dragged the brand of Xbox through the mud, but he didn't ruin a company. Still an empty suit in my book.
Now there is one I had been interested in back in 2006.
This needs to go away. Who places such high value on individuals like this? What do they really add to the bottom line of a given company? I really don't understand where the benefit is. This is a "good ole' boy" network, wherein generations of ineptitude and greed are celebrated, and dynasties are secured. Sorry for the rant, but this is disgusting.
It runs like ass on my rig, can only play it on medium settings and I am running a core i7, 16 gig of ram, and crossfired hd7850's with the latest beta drivers.
Go away.
This sounds to me like a challenge. Guaranteed we will see a much shorter speed run on You Tube.
You are correct, that is what you said, apologies. Wasn't asking questions, just being conversational.
Optimization means a lot, for instance I am running a decent gaming rig, intel I7, 16 gig ram, and hd7850's x2 with beta drivers 14.6, yet I can only play Watch Dogs on medium settings, anything else and it chugs. My point is you can run Space Invaders on a top of the line gaming rig, but if optimization really sucks it will run like crap. Same goes for consoles.
I stopped having the unrealistic expectation of gameplay equalling cgi a decade ago, although it is getting closer.
Need I point out the irony of your comments?
It's a dumb question, this generation is just getting started. Perhaps it's maxed out based on the tools and knowledge they have now, but these things always improve over time.
Well it doesn't suck, that's the best I can say about it. It's just kinda flat and lifeless.
