The trailer music was very off ngl. Really didn't fit well to how the game looks and plays.
Don't know about that...some of the recent leaks has been pretty credible. If they release it as an expansion then I actually wouldn't mind.
I agree on Icey but not too much on Monkey King. Just because Sony isn involved, doesn't it will be automatically good (Drawn to Death, Hardware Rivals, Tomorrow Children, etc.) Not to mention Oasis Games' track record isn't anything to write home about, just like most other chinese publishers like Winking Entertainment. Who knows though, maybe it could be good. Though if for any reason it it does receive a middling reception from both critics and gamers, then what would happen ne...
Same here. The problem though is that the majority are mostly style over substance. Even if some of those games are liked, they aren't as talked about compared to even the most niche western, European or japanese games. I'm still gonna give them a chance to redeem themselves but I won't be holding my breath anymore, especially when the PS5 is already around the corner, which could make things more troublesome for the devs now that they have to spend more money on developing games ...
Probably either playstation fanboys or people who hate Gears 5 solely because "female protagonist".
By 3rd attempt, you mean as APlus Games' attempt on making another anime game? Because if that's the case then I agree with you.
I mean, it really wasn't surprising. Personally, the game looks okay-ish, at least compared to most other arena fighters churned out by Bandai (One's Justice and Xenoverse were alright) but I completely agree that the game will have benefited more if it was a 2d fighter, and the same can be said with other anime fighters. Though, if that One Punch Man game tells us anything, I doubt japanese devs will stop making more arena brawlers.
Looks like someone didn't like your opinion it seems.
Was excited until I realise it was an arena fighter...from Bandai...developed by Spike.
@Tech5 Dang, did they hired the people from Sword and Shield to work on the graphics lol.
Sounds like a concept that would be easy to screw up. Still, I'm gonna give this one a whirl. Even if it's a jankfest, the idea makes the game too hard to pass up.
My issue with chinese online multiplayer games on the PS4 is that they don't stay up active for much longer. The only online chinese games on the PS4 I know are Warbot, Ancient Amuletor, Knights of Valour, and Code 51. Only Ancient Amuletor seems to have an active online playerbase, though it's pr...
The problem with Ugandan Knuckles is that it's not that it was racist, but because it already got stale. It's the same shit with every memes.
Except We Are Number One. That meme will forever be golden. R.I.P. Stefan K.
Also, what annoys me more than Ugandan Knuckles is that VR Chat are grown men using young anime girl avatars.
I'm all for chinese games but this is not one of them.
What's so special about only using two spells (one that's freezes and one that's deals a lot of damage)? Am I the only one who doesn't get the praise for this?
I would have disliked you but hey, at least you were honest, so you get a pass. I do have to admit that most chinese games on the PS4 tend to favor style over susbtance. My main issue with that is that most of them are very overpiced. I mean, you know how much Gene Rain costs? $25. That's $5 more than Gears of War 4's and Uncharted 4's price.
The problem with comment sections like this is that you can't really express an opinion without being unfairly downvoted for not having the same opinion as others.
Anyway, for me, I enjoy both the classic and the remake. The remake is pretty enjoyable thanks to the quality of life changes, and while I can understand the fans' issues with art direction and such, there's no denying that Bluepoint did its dang best on trying to maintain the soul of the original gam...
