By the looks of the sales, It’s holding up just fine. They’ll keep it up as long as they can!
One way or another we still have to rely on some form of digital download. Whether it be the whole game or the huge patches to fix the bugs to be able to properly play the game. Is there a game out there that doesn’t need a barrage of patches and fixes? It sucks. Will we be able to play them fine after 10 years? Broken or not at all? Flame on!
I know what you mean. I played it last night. When the grand kids see a giant Trico inches from their face they're gonna freak out. I can't wait to see their reaction. ;)
WOW! If this is the kind of crap and ill informed articles Ebaumsworld puts out, then congratulations, you may have successfully lost 2/3 of your potential gaming readers to your companies web site. What are you like 9 years old? We don't need to fight over specs. You know how these things change every couple of years, right? No need to piss off or insult (for no reason at all) the OVERWHELMING majority of console owners (and growing at a MUCH faster pace). It's not good business. <...
Forza looks marginally better in this video, though they all look great. The video also allows no real comparison since they're all in very different environments. I'll buy all of them since I love racing games the most. But, in the end GT will have the lions share of hours played by me, because it trully is the most authentic racer, especially with a racing wheel. Project Cars is great once you tweak the controls, otherwise it's too twitchy. Forza AI needs lots of attention. You ...
Totally agree with you! It looked fantastic no matter what the system used at e3. I'm looking sooo forward to playing it.
I'm mainly a Sony fan am NOT bashing MS, so relax. I also own ALL of the current and last gen systems and find greatness in them ALL. I think BC is a good thing, and it's free. But I honestly don't play last gen games anymore. I've beat those games or lost interest in them, plus have a big backlog of NEW games. And in my circle of friends, NOT one has played a last gen game since...er, last gen. Oh well, lets move on from this topic folks, it's not worth the time and effor...
I enjoyed it when I played it from disc. And now that I bought for 3 bucks I get to replay it from download. It was a good game, just a little too short. That's my only gripe. Everything else was fine with me. We're expecting a rainy weekend here in the south, so I'll be able to fire up the PS4Pro, sit on the couch on Saturday morning and finish it up before lunch...like a good long movie...except that I am the main character....I can't wait.
Nintendo wants to sell Nintendo. They're in it to make a profit for themselves not EA or any other company. So far with just the Switch, Zelda and MK8 they're doing pretty darn fantastic. So fantastic that the systems are sold out everywhere and people are willing to pay foolish prices for them when they can even find one. It helps when they add a new known title, regardless of a Wii U port or not. Just look at the numbers. Wait until Mario comes out...it's gonna be worse than the...
I liked the first game. And my grandkids love it to this day. It's one of only a handful of games that smaller kids can play on the PS4. It looks good on my PS4Pro and 4K TV too.
Can't wait to see what the upcoming "boost mode" update improves as well.
I'm liking what I see. It's simple and clean, with less clutter. I'm not getting one right away, but will eventually, when more games are out for it. Nintendo still makes games for my younger kids, which I can't say about the "other" consoles.
I have a 65" 4k Samsung HDR TV. Everything looks better on it. Setting the TV to "Game Mode" to turn off all TV processing to decrease input lag, then flipping back and forth between the Pros "modes" on lots of games. I can see a slight difference, but it's nothing drastic. Most of my family sees even less than I do. None of the games I've played have bennefitted from the increased resolution. But perhaps as more and more games come out we'll see some 4k...
Some of these prices must be old. I'm not getting $39.59 for the Final Fantasy XV – [Digital]. It shows up as the regular $59.99.
"In my opinion GT has been on the downhill since GT3 and meanwhile the competition has only got better and better"
How Funny!!! You *OBVIOUSLY* have not played it since GT3...Lets see, so far EVERY gaming site that has seen the PS4Pro in the last 3 days have had their jaw dropped with how great the games are looking AND playing. What makes anyone think that Poliphony Digital and Yamauchi are going to deliver a sub-par game. To date GT is the defacto game of REAL racers, the...
Thank YOU for the fantastic game. I still play it regularly. It's been the most generous game that I can think of. Still a huge graphics show piece. I do own all the current systems (except PSVR) and racing games, but DC is sooo much fun. Hopefully you all will band up together again and come up with another game soon!!
What do you haters mean it's stale or "same old"?
It's a racing game. You get in a car and race. That's it! Did you expect GT to evolve into something new?...with lasers or weapons, take flight or underwater? C'mon stop the hating. The formula for racing games has been the same for decades...you get in a car and race to see who's the best and fastest driver. GT has always been about the racing and what racing lovers want. Not some stupid story line where...
ISPs are increasing speed and data caps more frequently than ever. The more they see us leave their company to go to another with more data and speed, the quicker the data argument will go away. Cox Cable just went from a 250GB cap to 1000GB (1TB) for FREE. Others will soon follow as well. If they wouldn't have increased it I probably would have gone to one that had "upped the Ante" for the same price. I applaud MS for adding the 4K player, but honestly have had no interest in ...
That was great!! I loved it. Great way to start my day. And it trully IS the most powerful console...at least for a while....them MS can claim the prize...then PS5 will...ect...who cares? Just enjoy whatever system you have.
@SenorFart (Lol!), We have basically the same setup. It works great for TV, streaming, and gaming.
