Are gamers finally waiting until well after the game release to determine if it's actually a playable game? Games have been so poorly released lately, everyone seems to wait longer, and at that point, why not wait until a price drop?
I'm tired of paying $60 for half ass games that require $30 DLC or season pass to get all the available content.
Waiting for the definitive edition seems to be a trend lately....
I don't get why they don't include digital sales either. Seems pretty relevant, and easy to track. Very easy to track.
Sony doesn't release digital sales either, this isn't a "Microsoft" thing.
For me, I hardly saw any ads or commercials for the game. There was almost no hype. Definitely a contributing factor.
I don't mind that it was exclusive to X1. But the fact that it seems like Ms got exclusitivity just to lock out Ps4 owners, I don't agree with that at all. .
And it really looks like a dick move because in my opinion Microsoft didn't try very hard to sell this game.

I agree with this. It's already a bit hard on gamers to choose between PS4 and X1, or they have to buy both consoles to own all exclusives. Same thing with Nintendo in the mix. Add Sega, and that just really saturates the market, divides gamers even more, and only serves a small population of people who can afford all the consoles.
That being said, if Sega did enter the game, it would probably cause one of the other consoles to fall out of the running. Unless Micros...
FYI, ps4 and x1 share many similarities in design. X1 is larger with an external power brick. It also runs cooler and quieter.

PC towers always run cooler than laptops of similar specs.... Always. The more space you have, the easier heat management is. I've got a pretty beastly PC I built myself (I'd list the specs, but I doubt you care), and I wouldn't cram them into a smaller tower because.... IT WOULD OVERHEAT....

Yes, such a failing multi billion dollar company. If my product only made me millions and millions of dollars, I would just trash it. I could only imagine "only" selling 15+million consoles to date. What a failure.
