Really looking forward to this title since it really showcases what a AAA title can be like on the Vita.
Maybe the PS4 can be a return to old school RPG games even though this looks to be an adventure game.
With the PS4 launch, I don't think Sony simply has enough resources to do a Vita refresh as well. We will see one, I just don't think it will be this year. Perhaps with improved sales, we will see it at E3 2014.

I think the difference is that Splinter Cell games don't nearly have the same lure, romance, and legacy as an MGS game does.
I'm honestly surprised that there aren't more JRPG's for it. It seems like the perfect device for it but then again, the Japanese gaming industry seems to have been asleep this current console life.

Absolutely. Both sides must know how to use the others strengths to improve their traits. Be it the developer being able to get more emotion into the game, thanks to the actor/actress or the actor getting a better sense of the world to better act/interact as the character.
The dynamics will be interesting with this generation of consoles. Previously, it seemed that only 1st party studios were competent enough to get the real power of the PS3 out while most 3rd parties lacked the skills. With the PS4 architecture much more similar to that of a PC, I wonder if 3rd party developers will be able to create better multi-console games.
This likely has more to do with subscriptions than the console name.
Yea, I completely miss spoke. I meant 1080p. Currently, only select games run in 1080 but with new hardware, there is no reason that any game should be running in 720p.
Yea, the fact is that with next gen consoles like the PS4, every game will be native 4K

Hardware refreshes do tend to help spur interest back in devices, versus just dropping the price.
Absolutely loved Mega Man X on the PlayStation. Here's hoping that JRPG's make a comeback.

Kingdom Hearts is an action RPG. Final Fantasy has been and will always be an RPG. FF13 stripped many of those features, FF13-2 went further with that and now this, isn't even a FF title as far as I'm concerned.
