I just hope this new multipalt survival horror game Cliff mentioned is something like L4d with a cover system and GEOW2 visuals. Great job on GEars2 epic.

Yeah and I've been gaming for 30 years and see things the way you do but as visuals, story, and AI improve so will emotion. You can't tell me that the day when truly violent games arrive that they won't affect certain people in some way. Not sure who but I could imagine one day developers making very realistic stories about real life sick people. Eerie times are ahead of us and it's only natural for somebody to take it there.
Screw the comparison crap they both look close enough. What got me about this video was the sheer violence and in some ways disrespect to true fallen soliders. It just amazes me how the videogame industry keeps on going regardless of market crashes. I really think the media has blown this all into something more and the sales figures for Sony show us that people do have money. Watch as they mark stuff down for black friday and we end up having the biggest holiday sales ever.
I'm sorry but your wrong here if you believe L4D is anything like the games you metioned. Every encounter is different and I mean every single one of them. They come from different places and give you different scenario's to play through each time. Heck even the weapons spawn in different areas if you get them and it rains sometimes if the AI wants it too. There's nothing like this period in any shooter to date so check it out on expert if you really want to enjoy it.
After playing the game on expert numerous times I can see that the AI director is truly amazing and really changes the way you play again and again. If your playing on live hit me up with a gamer tag because to say "ai director had little impact" obviously means you either haven't played many games on expert or your some type of super gamer. L4D can not be played alone and without help you simply cannot pass it by yourself or at least more then once.
I just hope they wait until next gen and make it on a new engine. I personally love the story but hate the matchmaking. A party system would of been nice though, and if they wait raytrace if capable on the next box will be an amazing step forward.
Well I just went over to the Socom reviews just to see if all this talk about 360 fanboys hating was true, and bam the same freaking crap it is true. It looks like fanboys on both sides are fighting it out over the stupidest stuff. I seriously think this is my last post on this site until things die down a bit.

Well the trailer looked good but what I want to see is gameplay footage. This is not enough to get hyped for this game and hopefully they show some stuff soon.
