I wasn't a big Alan Wake fan but it's nice to see that Remedy actually cares about the gamers.
Yeah like I said I will have it tomorrow, but I wasted a decent amount of time yesterday and I think they should have made codes for common.
That app was a joke. I tried 4 different times to get a code and got nothing. Totally random sequences and then after wasting a good chunk of time making sure I was near the computer every 2 hours they run out of codes.
Not a huge deal because the demo is out for everyone tomorrow but if this was supposed to be some great marketing too it's a failure.
I agree 100%. I'm don't want to knock Skyrim because I did enjoy the 70 hours I spent with it but once the newness wore off of that game it was buggy, had underwhelming combat, a so-so story and really forgettable and bland characters. KoA seems to be taking a lot of criticism for things that I would say were also facets of Skyrim. I'm not saying they aren't warranted (I don't know because I haven't played KoA) but if it's an issue in 1 game it needs to be an is...
I would love to see what their criteria for scoring is and then see them justify their score. I don't think they can.
I was planning on getting it day 1 anyways so it doesn't effect me but this is an issue for people who don't have reliable internet. At the same time I understand EA's desire to actually get money from their product.
I agree. Although I wasn't at all interested in the last Ratchet and Clank I'm a huge fan of the franchise and hope they continue to make R&C games (hopefully returning to form after the last game).
I've never been a big Resistance fan, personally I thought the franchise was overrated. I haven't played 3 (which I heard is the best) but the first two were very meh for me.
I'm sorry I forgot this wasn't a public forum. I'll assume you're one of the many CoD fans who enjoys buying the exact same product over and over again, so I know you'll enjoy the "new" maps since you've probably played most of them before.
Appropriately titled the "give us your money" map pack.
You maybe aren't familiar with the game and don't realize that a lot of maps are very narrow, where even the flanking routes funnel you into narrow passageways. It's almost as bad as the DBS in Gears 3... a weapon that takes zero skill to use.
Yeah it's one of the reasons that although I like BF3 a lot, BC2 might be a better game. It was more simplistic, now there are so many ways to be cheap and it caters to talentless players.
If they update it I'll be interested.
My only real issue with the demo are the bugs and those are probably already worked out for the most part since it's a build from several months ago.
I'm fine with the graphics, it's not the best looking game ever but it's not an eye sore either.
But this is just a demo, you don't have to buy anything.
Yeah I don't get it either. If you want to play the game, play the game.
This doesn't shock me. Rockstar has had success in that May time frame in recent years.
Actually they need to stop nerfing and buffing and actually take a look at balance. It seems as though all they are doing is looking at a specific problem/issue and then only adjusting that one thing. They need to step back and take a look at air vs. ground balance as a whole. Javelin's have become "OP" because they made the stingers useless. If they had just done a better job balancing the stingers and helicopters this probably never would have become an issue because peopl...
Then who is going to plant bombs on M-COMs and capture flags, or actually play the game?
Better late than never?
