There's hidden sliders associated with the skill level in EA games that you can't change. And thats not very accessible. I fully expect the crowd that likes to fiddle with sliders to have already purchased this on day one.
Theres a million things I could have mentioned. I honestly think that an HDD with the next console is a given since the money they make from DLC will offset the costs of including an HDD. That being said, the reason I'd shoot for the fences with a storage medium is that you have to look 10 years into the future or more with this next console cycle. If they nail the hardware specs it could be the last major hardware revision for consoles, so the last thing you'd want is limited storage...
Kratos is in the DLC slot (bottom left and right corners). There is no select screen for story mode, you're taken through chapters of the story with various characters (similar to MK vs DC). Ladder mode is like the traditional MK games where you fight 10 enemies and then see an ending.
@ji3200: if you get past the weird cutscenes and the bad default controls, yes, its a better game than that. But they were very misguided in their efforts. I feel like this game would have been scored higher across the board if they had an 18 month turn around and the only thing they did was add Ibiza as an Island and weather effects, and pretty much kept everything else the same as the first game.
Its not exactly a 10/10. Its more of an evaluation of the value you get with this package. As you noticed, I had more than my fair share of gripes. But I still think this is a great game and can easily last any serious sports gamer the balance of the next year.
