But that is only based on logic, if games are going to be 50gb a piece. You would need a hdd thats atleast 2-5tb to feel safe that you dont need to upgrade it (especially if you only can buy the companys own over priced hdd´s). And a 100 mb internet line would have to be a must to get the games home before the second coming of christ.. I do however think that smaller games up to 10gb could be sold over psn or live with success...
You have to buy a wireless adaptor and pay for the onlinre service if you want to play those live games online. For me i also feel like i have to add that the battery pack for the 360 controller is also a must...
I do own all 3 nextgen console´s, but the ps3 and 360 is about at the same price cost if you ad the free things you get with the ps3. The wii is kind of a joke since there is no game i play on it, but my girlfriend really like it... :-)

It just feels like it could be a 5 gb downloadable game, it shouldnt take up to much space since the only thing you do is defence. Or have i missed something?

I never bought the orange box but i heard some fuzz about portal, am i missing something?
Make a folder on the usb memory named PS3 and in that folder another folder named THEME (Both PS3 and THEME must be in capital letters). Then you transfer the themes from youre computer to the folder THEME, after that you plugg it into youre ps3 go to setup, then theme setup, under theme you have a install, click on it and choose which of the themes from youre usb memory you want to install.

But you cant really compare them since they are not only fps/tps but also a run and gun/stop and pop. Both are really awesome games but completley diffrent..
