MS didn’t buy ZeniMax so Xbox can have exclusive games. For Xbox, this is about believing in Game Pass and strengthening it’s library. You can’t ignore the massive install base of PS so keeping their games multi-plat makes sense. PS owners pay full price and Xbox owners get them on Game Pass. Win-win. And timed exclusives make sense. Let’s not forget MS made this deal to make money and they paid $7.5 billion
