Well Nintendo said it themselves.. they are focusing on “Switch install base” to combat the technology gap of PS5 and Scarlett. So there you go. A cheap bare bones Switch unit that doesn’t even have the best feature and identity of what makes it special. It doesn’t even play all Switch games. Dropping the price to $250 would have been the way to go

To save $50 you lose the flexibility that makes Switch so great. This is a big step backward. We need hardware improvement/refinement. Not a cheaper version.
