@N4rc
Lol so true.
My initial reaction: "fuck off"
/cause Jonathan Blow is the embodiment of credibility.
And your earthquake denial kits.
The PS4 OS's RAM usuage being compariable to the Xbox One - how absurd!
All for 4, One for All ? :P
It's funny how every comment similar to yours has 3 disagrees, like there's 3 people who went and disagreed with everyone expressing that it is OK.
inB4 "it was over before it began" :P
Only if Cerny says so :P
Geez, I really gotta do the math for you?
Xbox One:
"8 GB DDR3 system memory, with 5 GB of that available for games (the rest [3gb] is used for the operating system)" http://kotaku.com/xbox-one-...
PS4: 8gb GDDR5, up to 3.5gb for OS, with 1gb "flexiable memory", leaving up to 5.5gb of RAM for gaming.
(according to this ar...
I want the best OS for my dollar
So, X1 = 5gb, PS4 = 5.5gb
I confuse Phil Fish for Jonathan Blow - and vice versa - all the time
When they said Mirrors Edge will be out "when it's ready" I really didn't get the impression that they meant you'll see more in a couple months.
He's gettin' old... gotta hide dat cane :p
Lol @ the finger crossing
Also, Spoiler warning
I completely agree. I loved the ending. Namely because I was so engrossed into the story that I felt Joel's actions were justified.
I feel like people who thought it was "wrong" weren't fully immersed. (feel free to disagree) Because if you were, you'd realize that the hope for the cure wasn't real - to Joel specifically. Joel lived this world - and he knew how much of it was lost, and more importantly the o...
Huh, cause the Xbox One is looking like it did yesterday, or needless to say a month or so ago right after E3.
The Xbox One is actually looking different every day it seems.
Price.
So true. Microsoft was getting a lot of bad press - back then the 3gb of RAM for OS was evidence of their non-gaming centric direction.
Now Sony won't even comment on a specification that Microsoft already has, and everyone is defending them. (and in some cases still insisting that the OS takes less RAM)
If the OS somehow uses less RAM than what's being speculated - don't you think they would've said so?
