For those harping on about 'generations' what Jim Ryan meant was that the PS5 version of games would have more features then the PS4 version. He never once said PS5 only.

Gamepass is great at the 1$ offer i got 3 years of gamepass for that price but i wouldn't pay anymore then that though it's not worth the full price no matter how many games they pay devs to put their games in it. They should scrap gwg.

There is no PS5/XSX version of the game. When you are installing the disc via the XSX/download the game you are installing the one X version with enhancements for XSX but its still the one X version via BC. The same for PS5 when you install via the disc/download the game your installing the PS4 pro version with some enhancements but still a PS4 game via BC. The PS5 BC is more strict then the XSX when it comes to frame-rate/loading times as there is a limiter in place to allow compatibility. T...

XSX is 20% superior to the PS5 in framerate. I'm glad the extra 2TF is finally being used hopefully all games from now on will be 20% or more better then the PS5 version.

On second thought they should add a casual mode but disable all trophies in it as a way to reward gamers who play the game the way it is designed to be played.
People asking for an easy mode to returnal is like wanting an easy mode added to Demon Souls which includes being able to one hit a boss because i can't be bothered to play the game the way it was designed to be.

The pandemic most likely as devs have to work on the games from home which slows down development somewhat.
The whole point of Returnal is that you are stuck in some kind of twisted timeloop that resets when you die and you need to escape from it. Adding saves where you die defeats the whole point of the game so just man up and play the damn thing.
124.95 Australian dollars in euro is around 80 which is the standard price for returnal in the eu. So not any dearer between the two.
