To be fair its really about how you build the hardware.Agree 360 got hot but fast forward to xbox one x model it was designed insanely well for its chips to stay efficient. The ps pro is just not designed the same but i think the next ps5 will be designed much better for its power inside
its the shape that people are on about,We know its not the final design but no dev kit would ever go out of its way to make an odd shaped V for the sake of it unless its part of the final design as a concept.

I dont get the point of the v, just cus the number 5? Seems silly and less smart design for hardware. For me personally and again personally i dont see why someone wants odd shape designs. Its a box that plays games, it should blend into your space and not be some art. Also makes manufacturing more expensive. This is why i loved the ps1,ps2 deisgns, simple and smart. Xbox makes great designs now since the S model.
The idea was cool and i think next gen someone will make another version of it because the concept is amazing.PS home just sucked so bad at doing it though. Few pc games did it way better like second life. Than again the next GTA is pretty much going to be like ps home lol. It needs to be a proper world and not loading rooms and VR as an optuon. I sorta have a sense the next ps console might go even more back to its roots !
I dont think its on azure yet. They would have to add blades to all the MS servers and probably change the software. Either way all of that is coming by the end of next year so that is exciting !
Lol to you thinking physical media will never change. Mass majority of people are happy to buy a digital copy of a game stored on their profile. I promise you in 10 years there will be no such thing as physical games to buy,just like every other media market that has moved from that or moving
You dont understand how it works. Stadia can do this because it has a large scale server structure with the highest level graphic cards in them. PS now is insanely small scale.This was a small out dated streaming tech company sony bought. Thankfully though sony has made a deal with MS to use its mass server structure and they will have a similar setup to what xcloud will be.So you will see new ps5 hardware added to its servers and ps now should be much much better in a year from now !
PS Now will work much better as they have partnered with MS to use their mass server infrastructure. I just assume that some how ps now will split into 2 things where you have the collection of games and a choice to just buy and stream your choice of games.Looking forward to that

So its interesting because right now the hardware built into the servers are xbox one.By the time this fully releases i assume it will be close to next summer,Which is not far behind next gen. So maybe before the next xbox launches they will have added those consoles into the servers so its up to date. Looking forward to this

The idea of streaming is amazing but people are stubborn and yes not everywhere has ideal internet BUT MANY places have more than fast enough internet. So i feel the way MS is doing this by a marketing stand point is very smart. They are launching a cloud app that when done will dublicate what you have on your xbox and you choose how to use it. It deserves another chance cus a lot of games diddnt turn out in ps3. Obviously it was just so difficult to make games on it hence why they moved to making games on a linux format. Most games didnt feel smooth and the controller was much worst than ps2. So i feel it should make a comeback and socom for next gen. Such good games and agree the skidding was a key gameplay selling point

They will release a pro model next fall 100 percent. Already rumors of nvidas next chip that Nintendo is going to use .but considering next gen will release streaming platforms on both sides I could see Nintendo also adding its product in that realm .Maybe they will also make a deal with MS along side Sony
