Basically, they have two options if they wanted to do a remake: either they make a 1:1 port or they make something like FF X-2.

It is not a problem that FFXIII comes for 360, the more games they sell the better, but the whole "we make equal games on unequal platforms" issue is starting to get on my nerves.
Why don't they admit already that the Ps3 version is downgraded because of the 360 version. I mean it is so obvious, and i'm not talking about the power of the consoles or graphics. I'm talking about the Bluray, they could have done a far more better game if they would have done it for the Ps...

Oh it's GT5 already, sorry, time flies ;) well MGS4 bundles sold way better than even sony had expected.
It would sell quite good i think: probably the best racing game this gen (And who knows? Maybe backward compability so you can play GT4 also) + one of the (if not the) best exclusive on PS3 would convince me to buy one, even more when the price is right.

the price cut will have an effect on sales because what you say is just a special offer by mediamarkt and other big german electronic stores in place since June 2009.
Imagine an official price cut by Sony + a special offer for christmas by Mediamarkt so you have a PS3 for 250€ in a bundle with Metal gear Solid 4 + Gran turismo...

Metal Gear a movie ? Pff is that all you can say ? At least the metal gear series have a storyline not like Splinter Cell...
I took 24 hours to beat it on extreme and the total length of the cutscenes is about 5 or 6 hours (a pretty long movie then), maybe a little more with the codec scenes. So that leaves at least 17 hours of gameplay.
The difference is : MGS Gameplay 60 % MGS story 40 %
Splinter Cell Gameplay: 80% SC "story" 20%

I don't think that it´s going to succeed, because i think that videogames (core games) are meant to be played with a controller. just try and play a core game with the wii-mote or with the six-axis(remember Lair?) It is simply more convenient to sit on your sofa and relax, rather than to jump around like an idiot or to wave your controller or some sticks around.
Natal will be hyped at first, everyone is going to buy it, but then ? Is it going to support core games ? Will it...
Maybe Sony has a stone age controller,but for me even an NES controller is better than having to dance like a monkey in front of a camera. Always remember: It is better to have a stone age controller than a stone age medium (like the DVD)
Destroy the Ps3 ? Do you think before you write such nonesense ? You guys depend on Playstation, because every (ok not every but almost every) good game on the Xboks is originated from sony consoles. I agree with cwir and IMO the rewiever made a valid point. He said that it is quite easy to learn to play guitar on it with an expensive plastic controller, but that it would make more sense to actually buy a real guitar if you are already planning on learning it.
