Agreed
More or less my opinion. I had fun with it but definitely not without its issues.
In my opinion the part in the demo is the least enjoyable portion of the game
Platinum isn't that hard just time consuming, getting the 10,000 kills and a SSS rank on every mission will be a grind.
Not in a traditional sense. It was more the controller scheme felt awkward which made it more challenging. I can appreciate what they were going for with it, it just wasn't a design choice I particularly liked.
They do add a sense of helplessness.
Agreed, it still holds up very well. They did make an ActRaiser 2 and Soul Blazer was somewhat of a spiritual successor, but neither one of them were the same caliber as the original. I would also like to a new incarnation of the original ActRaiser.
It's separate but connected, we interviewed about seven different staff members from CCP Games so each one offers a different perspective and focuses on a different area but naturally there may be some overlap between them. Hope you can find something worthwhile in all of them!
Glad you enjoyed it. There will be some more interviews from various CCP staff in the coming days.
Glad you enjoyed it. PlayOnline made that the last Final Fantasy guide I ever bought.
Agreed. I liked the graphic direction they took with VIII and thought this looked too childish, but once I got past that it became one of my favorite FFs.
I haven't seen anything confirming him but with Terra, Cloud, Squall, Bartz, and Lightning I am optimistic about Zidane.
The puns are my favorite part of covering this game
I hit the down vote button by accident, sorry. If you liked 4 and 6 you probably would like 5. Personally I think the even numbered SNES ones are superior, but as long the fact it shows its age doesn't bother you it should be enjoyable. The Playstation version on Final Fantasy Anthology is playable but the GBA port is better.
I never thought about their popularity with developers being due to ease of zombie coding but it makes sense now that you mention it.
Out of everyone I sent this to you are the first person to catch it :)
It takes place 100 years after Baldur’s Gate II so the prior BG experience helps but not necessary. It plays a lot like Divinty: Original Sin II.
