Nice Article! I have to say that maybe my favorite part of Assassins Creed 3 wasn't the naval battles or the missions but Homefront. Getting everyone together, doing missions to help them out and understanding who they are. It all felt more personal to me and I had a bigger connection with them and Achilles more than anyone else. Made me like Connor somewhat after that and wished there was more games that incorporated this aspect.
No, I think it's the constant need to watch out for the BS publishers and developers try to pull, the constant need to defend Video games from critics like Jack Thompson or that Lee guy in California who claimed we have a lust for violence, the constant need to defend our favorite game company from haters and fanboys. Gamers are constantly on the defensive against these sort of things, and honestly do think the internet has only made it worse now that every single person has a voice.
You can't tell people to relax and have a calm discussion on why you hate this? I'm not discouraging anyone, but I've been seeing people freak the freak out all day and than we got this guy saying this is the final nail in Sony's coffin, which is ridiculous.
Oh my god, would you people freakin' Relax? These prices are NOT FINAL!! If you have a problem with it, Sony is encouraging you to SPEAK UP!!
Eh, I'm not too worried about it. They have stated that they are going to start showing off more of the core gameplay instead of graphics, so I'll reserve judgement until than. I just can't see Ready at Dawn, who made some fantastic GOW games, being bad in the combat department, granted hack and slash is different from TPS, but given how much time and effort has gone into the various different weapons, gotta give them the benefit of the doubt that something awesome will come out o...
Look, a digital future is going to happen. No doubt about that, but I think where Microsoft went wrong here is when they tried to force it on us! They should've just let the digital revolution come along naturally, not force it down to the consumer's throats, no wonder they got as much flack as they did. Either that, or they seriously needed to explain their vision a whole lot better instead of just keeping quiet and letting everything fester like they did.
I did face initial issues, I tried to access the store but everytime I tried to download it it'd kick me out, but I managed to solve it by going to the SOnyEntertainment website and just download from there, I had it preordered but I was able to put it in my cart and "rebuy" it for 0.00 bucks and did the option to download directly to my PS4 and it worked, hope that helps some of you guys.
I actually didn't hate Knack, I liked it for what it was. A callback tot he old school platformer and I enjoyed my time with it and the challenge of beating it.
Exactly, and even though I'd be missing out on having to download everything automatically, I'd rather sit through a download than leave my power-hungry consoles on standby. Nice to see it was the right choice after seeing this article.
Aaaaand this is why I unplug my shiz after finishing up using them.
1. Because this game actually does deserve a proper treatment, not compressed HD where it wouldn't even look as good as the disc-based PS3 version
2. Point taken, but at least we're getting extra content and the developers aren't fiddling with anything that could ruin the game, unlike Lucas who felt the need to change everything with every re-release
3. Yes. Because isn't one of the points of Next-Gen to offer a graphics bump? It certainly did...
Of course, I cave in on Prototype and pick it up Saturday when I could've waited and gotten it for less...
Well you know what? F$#k you CCP, I poured money into Dust 514 because I had faith in your vision and now your pretty much abandoning it for Legion? I guess it's my fault for trusting a F2P title but I expected better of you guys. Only way I'll come back now is if you bring it to PS4 with promised improvements or hell jus tbring Legion to PS4 and let me bring my character over.
Aww man, I'd rather see Heavy Rain get the Next-Gen treatment.
Which is why they are spinning off the Tv Brand and their mobile division isn't hurting.
This isn't really all that surprising, heard they had been keeping very quiet awhile back which was one of the reasons that we weren't going to see Titanfall on PS. As good as Playstation is doing now, one of the things I didn't agree with was them keeping so quiet about everything and it appears to have costed them a good game. Hindsight 20/20. Hopefully, Sony can learn from this next time we see a new console coming.
It's a good game but it was hopelessly hyped and to me, quite a bit overrated.
To me, it's all a matter of psychology. When one troll of a specific brand sees that his particular console is coming out with "gamechaning/successful&q uot; news, they will go absolutely bat-sh$#t crazy, and it get worse when they see the competitive brand going through a bit of trouble no matter what the news and will do everything in it's power to flaunt it to the world thanks to the World Wide Web. Before this whole next-gen started, I think everything was pretty even in term...
That music is going to get very old very fast.
"This doesn’t mean that we’re walking away from our fans who only play on PlayStation or on PC. Those are great systems, with great partners, and amazing communities. We have Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris coming to those platforms this December, and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition is available on PS4."
I think that's when I nearly lost it. Like you said, they just finished unveiling Rise of the Tomb Raider as an Xbox Exclusive, made no mention that it...
