Whoever told you that PS3 version of COD4 had serious problems is an idiot. There were no problem with PS3 version. It ran identical as 360 version. The only problem that they had with PS3 version was the lack of Dualshock 3 support and Trophy patch but the game came out long before DS3/Trophies came out and IW was already working on MW2.
MW2, like COD4, won't be gimped on PS3.

That would be awesome but I would rather have a new GTA that is exclusive to PS3. A new GTA PS3 exclusive will add even more momentum to PS3's current momentum.

I would have to disagree with you. The complexity of a hardware doesn't determine the quality of the hardware. It all depends on how the company manufactures them. If complexity was the case then PS3 would have more problems than the 360, which it doesn't.
Honestly, ODST actually surprised me... I didn't think that it would be that good. I bought the game last night, played it, and couldn't stop playing firefight. Firefight mode is pretty addicting if you ask me...

plus if you buy the PS3 slim now for $299 and you can get a 500gb HDD for about $90 on newegg. that is still cheaper than the 250gb Xbox Elite which I'm assuming that it will be priced at $399
