The irony is that people are raging over a game that would arguably still be a 3.5/10, even if there were no login issues.
Blizzard: "Hey guys, there's this AMAZING thing you gotta have behind this door here. Just $60 bucks. Come on it's really really good."
Gamer: "Sold. Here's my cash. Can I have it now?"
Blizzard: "Yup. Go on in and claim your prize."

Path of Exile is a real contender for Diablo's heir. F2P doesn't hurt either.
I was seriously shocked at how terrible the game looked on the surface, then even more shocked at the skill-unlocking system they implemented. This generation's diablo is not for anyone who loved the original. Kiddies will love it though for the non-existent learning curve and (ugh) achievements.
you didn't miss anything.
I found the combat system a bit sloppy at times. Lock-on a la Dark Souls would've been better. Loved the amount of action going on but it at times it was tough to tell what was going on. Still adding it to the collection.
Path of Exile is a better alternative.
So it's come to this? They won't give it a proper review until the next patch. Ridiculous. They released it a week early, implying the May 10 retail version was as polished as it could be.
The game should be reviewed as is.
those aren't "touched up" screen shots; most are merely low-res, zoomed-in screen caps from the low-res trailer released earlier.

I smell a bargain-bin gem next week!
Simple keyboard + mouse support should've been standard for all fps on consoles by now.
Does kz3 really deserve all the 10/10 an 9.5/10 scores it's getting? if so, why?
from Push interview with Patrick Bach:
'Bach’s so proud of Frostbite 2 that he reckons his studio are the “first ones in the next generation”. Of course, those concerned that the experience won’t scale to the PlayStation 3 should rest easy. “We’re streaming all the data. There’s not a single frame where nothing streams. From textures to objects to weapons to sounds and animations … it scales down pretty well. All of the core systems will use streaming, so it’s more of a q...
More concerned with what the new visuals will cost in frame rates. (Using KZ3 as an example of great gfx and horrible frames per second).
ps4 devs: Please build fps games to support KB + Mouse. Killzone with a controller is still just meh...
