I'll be at Nintendo's presentation bright and early during E3. It'll be interesting to see what they roll out.
I don't think profanity equals realism... a game can feel realistic without it. But a few swear words can add to realism. There were a few in Alan Wake, for example, and they all seemed appropriate given the situation. I know if I were being chased by possessed townsfolk I'd swear like a sailor! ;)
I have trouble getting into games that don't have good storylines. Even though something like Team Fortress 2 is a great, fun game, I easily get bored with no story to follow. But to each their own I suppose. :)
I guess cowboys and blocked writers are no match for a flying Italian plumber.
I actually don't like going solo in MMOs. I play MMOs mainly for the social aspect. I WANT to play with other people! Preferably my friends... because we all know how lame PUGs are. ;)
I've never played a CoD game either. Call it stereotypically girly of me, but I'm not into war games.
Interesting read.
I'm not a huge fan of DLC. I prefer larger expansion packs to tiny morsels of content. But I think DLC is here to stay, at least for the foreseeable future.
Interesting read. I'm alreayd more player than viewer. I don't have cable. What shows and movies I do watch, I watch through Netflix and Hulu on the Xbox. Most of my time in front of a TV is spent playing video games.
I've never been a fan of racers, but the graphics on this one look really sweet!
That's true! I have hopes for New Vegas, just like I hoped Alpha Protocol wouldn't suck. Oh well.
I haven't played a Mario game since the 90s.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing what some of the smaller developers have planned at E3.
Scrabble does make sense on an ipad, especially if you can play others online
A lot of games, like TV shows, just don't age well unfortunately.
I've never, ever played Sudoku. Probably not going to start now. :)
Hey, I actually liked The Final Countdown... back in the 80s. ;)
The girls say it about the guys sometimes too. ;)
I've been afraid to touch video game novelizations every since I read the Resident Evil novels years ago. God those were awful!
You're right, that is pretty ugly.
I think it'd be fun to play through American Idiot... once or twice.
