Totally agree with BlackTar187. No way did you beat that game at age 4. If you did, it was with a game genie. I had that game and played the holy hell out of it. Tons of hours, hundreds of play throughs, no dice. And my friends never let me borrow games until they beat them, because I was a beast and would beat them in less than a day. I have also played thousands of games and beat nearly all of them, and still that mother effin' game haunts me.
(First game was Pong on ...
How many peeps would buy a 700 dollar, hardware level, backwards compatible PS4/X1? I would! Collectible and none of the problems.
I got smoked trying to get one too. Couldnt check out, and I slammed one in my cart as soon as it came up. Bunch of errors and reloads only to be empty handed.
Hey Sony! Would have paid $1000.00+ for one that was hardware backward compatible all the way to PS1 with that color scheme. Me thinks you would have sold about 500K of those ones. Bet there is at least that many of us with the coin and nostalgia for a console like that.
This is why competition is good, and fanboys should never call for the demise of a competitor console. (Just bitch about the policies, practices and products.) Now that Sony is out in front, MS can't deny what customers want. Sony started the last gen cocky an full of themselves, and now their attitude is a lot more humble and gamer focused. MS started this gen cocky and full of themselves. Let's hope they continue moving in the direction of humility and a gamer focus. We will be the...
Saw the original movie when I was a kid. Snuck behind my fathers recliner when he and my mom were watching it on VHS. His chair was next to a wall where I had this great spot to peek my head head out toward the TV, and no one would ever see me. Watched a lot of stuff I wasn't supposed to in that spot. The sheer horror that over took my body watching Alien still gives me shivers to this day. I was so scared I couldn't move, scream, or breath, and had night terrors (not bad dreams, PTSD...
I would pay money for emulation on the PS4. I've never traded in my old games. I have hundreds of PS1 & PS2 games!
Many may not agree, but this just sold me on the game. My gameroom is perfect for this!
Only way I can let EA know that it was a massive mistake is to never purchase another EA game again, and I buy a lot. (12 consoles, 4 plasma tv's & around 500 games in one room)
I wish there was someone out there who could find out how many of the commenters on Destructoid and on N4G are damage control people for EA/Bioware. The last few articles I have read about this seem to have LOTS of "whiner" and "leave the artistic vision alone" one liners.
Gamers read what others think and make decisions and form opinions based on that. EA has got to be pumping up the comment sections to try to curb the tsunami of bad press about the endin...
These comments are all hilarious. I find myself smiling at almost all of them.
People mad that the artists are compromising.
People mad that Bioware isn't changing everything.
People mad that things won't be the same.
People mad that they think they are going to have to pay.
And the best, people mad at those who are mad.
We are all going to be dead someday, just like Shepard (lol). We ...
@inthelab. I totally agree. 10/10 should be reserved for the best of the best. The debacle that is the ending prevents this author from any credibility. 9/10 even 9.5/10.but NOT perfection.
This score is confirmation bias. See what you like, ignore what you don't.
P.S. EA and Bioware can (and should) craft the game anyway they want. If people like what they have crafted they will buy. If they don't they won't. EA/Bioware gets this. Let's see how they...
Ya, it was obvious. (sarcasm)
Your 6% number shows you've never taken a stats class. Your making a ton of assumptions on that point.
The stat I think we will all be interested in is future Bioware sales.
If Bioware modifies the ending it will be due to THAT stat. And the pissed off fans "retake" movement has given Bioware a chance at salvaging company image.
I've been following the chatter about ME3 for about a week now. I was pumped to try and get a CE and finish my beloved ME series. Then I read about the ending. At first I avoided all spoilers, then I realized people were pissed! After reading what Bioware did to the ending I am going to pass on it.
I can do what many fans unfortunately could not, vote with my wallet.
I hope Bioware gets the message loud and clear that a sh#tty ending can Absolutely destro...
Really? A 10? A 10 is a flawless game. Unless this author (Bioware PR man) has been under a rock he has to recognize the criminally horrible ending. How much money does it cost Bioware to get guys to write reviews like this?
A petition/fundraiser has been started over the ending! Not important? How many games do you know of that have had this kind of backlash? Bet you won't need more than one hand to count them, out of the 1000's of games that have been created.
Too bad I won't be buying it. Mass Effect WAS my favorite series of all time. (Been playing since the "Wonder Wizard", google that thing!) An ending like what's being discussed Kills me. It ruins the whole series.
Looks like Bioware PR going full tilt!
I will not be buying ME3 due to what I have read about the ending. I also understand I should play the game before passing judgement, but I can do something that other fans unfortunately cannot.
I can vote with my wallet.
I am a huge fan of the ME series and it kills me to forgo this game. However, endings matter enough to me to pass on it. An ending like what is being talked about sounds like it will ...

Absolutely loved that game! Would love to see a sequel, but might be difficult to re create that magic.
