At no point did Microsoft ever sell the XBOX360 for 360$? What were they thinking?

Porting 1 and 2 on the Wii is a good start. The engine has got to be cheap by now (for the sequels)...all the work is done (for 1&2), all that needs to be implemented are the Wii Controls.

with a statistic like that, yet reports of unprecendeted growth, how is the videogame industry considered a sucess?

may'be console generations will have to be more drawn out, to paraphrase Iwata the console itself is more of a dehibilatator as far as getting the most possible people playing a company's (in his case Nintendo) brand.

If Corporatons want better and more stable sales the higher ups working behind them should ensure that their boxes are going to be serviceabl...

if all the systems get the same games this gen, why buy muliple systems next gen if there's going to be the same games on each system?

this isn't the time to get a PS3.

price cuts will come mid 2009 and then there probably won't be anymore for 2 years...if Sony cuts it by 100$...

if by 50$ mid 09 another will come mid 10 by 50$ again and then a cut a year and a half after that.

Sony's stingy so they're probably thinking of cutting 50$ mid 09 while offering a launch game and may'be a headset as a part of the bundle.

it's buried but there's a bundle with a XBOX360 and a t...

i had an XBoX1 and I bought 20 games, but come to find out my drive was defective and all the games i attempted to play got scratched to death.

i never want to see another Microsoft console again.

donate to impoverished, starving people instead of wasting your money on a XBoX, at least you'll see a return insomuch as having a happier outlook on society.

October's decline is the worst since the Commerce Department adopted the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) standard to measure retail sales in 1992.

It marked the fourth consecutive decline in monthly retail sales.

"This would suggest that we are in a recessionary cycle," said Hoyt. "Businesses will start to invest less in their business and hire fewer people. This will again hit consumers. Round and round we go."

The ongoing economic crisis, which has been dubbed as the worst since the Great Depression, has wreak havoc on retailers, as it has forced consumers to sharply cut back on their spending. A shaky job market and a prolonged housing slump have added to the gloom.

If the results and warnings from retailers were not enough, a report released Friday showed that retail sales plunged by the largest amount on record in October, an ominous sign for the holiday season ahead.
