Not reallly surprised. Especially now that they need to sell PRO consoles somehow.

New Vegas is light years better than Fallout 3 in my opinion. As for Fallout 4, yes, it was a disappointment, especially the dialogues and story, but I still somehow popped that platinum trophy. Probably because there were no other games in that time.
Expecting QA on mods is virtually impossible just by a sheer volume of their income, Bethesda would probably need to hire a whole team just for that. It's a stupid decision on Sony's part in my opinion.
So what if my game would crash? It also works like that on PC, you take good with the bad, some mods are crappy and you try and install only those with stellar ratings.
This decision is beyond me and I'm really pissed about it, I platinumed Fal...
Papyrus is the scripting language fallout 4 uses and it is literally only used in bethesda games and cannot interact with anything else unless people modify other libraries (impossible on console).
As for the new "proof" - lmao, it's laughable Sony thinks bethesda would have the resources to QA all community made mods, noone does that, Sony wanted a reason to shut this down, so they made an impossible request, typical.
"Sony worked with Bethesda and said no finally to whatever it was they were trying to do."
There's been posts on reddit and gaf that actually shed some light on this:
"The beta was cancelled/mods delayed because Bethesda was at a roadblock with Sony refusing to help. The way the post makes it sound is that Sony was ultimately not willing to play ball on this, therefore severely restricting mods and Bethesda didn't want to release mo...
Yea but it's not Bethesda that shut down the project, it's Sony, they don't want to allow free mods on their platform, I'm really puzzled as to why, I've been waiting for that to happen, maybe someone could finally add some better weapons to my F4 experience. :/
They shouldn't be playing it down, streaming at 4k is still pretty spotty, artifacts can often happen even on the strongest of connections. Besides, having 4k TV it's only natrual you want to watch movies at 4k, there's just no going back to 1080p after experiencing it.
It's definitely not a deal breaker to me, but it's very disappointing, especially how they're downplaying it.

Since I already own PS4 I'll go with Scorpio, PS4 Pro doesn't seem like a significant upgrade for me, it feels more like a PS 4.1.
Maybe if all of the upcoming games would've been affected by the upgrade, but the list is laughably small right now, so no thanks.
And for HDTV owners I also don't think it's a good idea: "Kotaku. A Pro owner who merely has a current-standard 1080p TV may also see marginal improvements to games"

Reading comment history? Lol, sony fanatism is something else here. Besides, this is maybe second sony article I commented in a while (saying ps4 mgs v edition is the best looking console), so not sure what you're getting at. Not to mention, I only own PS4, but I guess I'm not a mindless yes-man to everything sony related.
It's actually pretty funny how people here along with mods are biased, that's why this site is considered a joke by any major gaming comm...

What a bummer, seriously.
What possible reason could Sony have to deny gamers free mods? Wtf... #4theplayers my ass.
Still damage controlling, nice. Must be nice to have all that time for pointless things in life like that.
I never felt more compelled in having an Xbox One, so I guess it's not true for me.
This article is more or less on the same level as the ones saying it's the lord and savior of gaming and final nail to to the Xbox One's coffin.

Lmao at this reaction: http://i.imgur.com/nC6V8LB....
it looks terrible and HDTV users won't get guaranteed upgrade in every game [e.g. to 60 fps] unless they own 4k, well then, no thank you.
