It is stupid, I agree! Unfortunately, it happens to me more often then I would like (especially in Left 4 Dead 1; 2 I don't play much).
All I know is, when I'm in a co-op game the girl gamer gets healed first even if I'm dying and she has like 90 % health, lol.

Confirmed. It is also available in Canada and the United States. Now... I am just hoping the Collector's Edition will be available for Canada as well (US Sega Store won't ship it here).

It could be true though, since Sony still supports the older systems. Lets not forget their devotion to PS2, even when the PS3 launched. Even PSP has some [albeit very minor] support with Vita in the market.
