Nah it looks horrible like all of these "Classic Game in Unreal 4" videos do.

Vita had better online features than Switch like party chat and friend messaging, web browser and video apps, PlayStation Plus games each month and various PS1 classics available to buy. Exclusives are what matter but Sony's failed system offering things that Nintendo's successful one isn't, is disappointing. I'd play my Switch more if the games weren't more expensive on it than other systems

I don't see how making it slightly turned based goes against what John Wick is as a character. Like if there's a real-time replay and you see what you've done it would look a lot more like John Wick than what a player would be doing in real-time. You - the player - would need to slow down but John Wick wouldn't.

@bouzebbal

Yeah calling it Game Boy XXL is a great marketing idea!

"Where are the Game Boy XXL games?"
"It plays Switch games. They are over here"
"But it's not a Switch it's a Game Boy XXL"
"No the Game Boy XXL IS a switch"
"Does it play Game Boy games?"
"No"
"But it's called a Game Boy!"

That would h...

I like the idea of a 4v4 melee combat game, if it's like a multiplayer Devil May Cry or something then I'll be into it. Not really digging the aesthetic but I'll wait until some footage or the alpha is out or something before calling it bad

I bet a lot of companies' playtesters cry

He said the Rainbow Six single player experience is dead, not single player for every game.

Whatever the developer's intentions are really. Not every game should be for everyone and cater to as broad an audience as possible, I'd rather games be more decisive and interesting than just being safe and comfortable like a lot of modern games are. I don't think something like Mario or an arcadey game should get political, but something narrative based like an RPG or even a military shooter - go for it. Lead to a discussion

Microsoft will probably have the best show because of 3rd party game announcements (DMC5 being announced at Xbox E3 last year was really cool for me). Dunno if this E3 will do much for Xbox in itself (might be too early to see what their new studios have) but their E3 is definitely the one I'm eyeing the most

Buying studios and funding more games is a good way to compete.

Removing an already released game off Steam is pretty scummy though

It isn't much smaller at all and it's not like it'll be that much cheaper either (plus cheaper prices on physical media), not really seeing much of a reason to pick this up

Surprised no Crash Bandicoot games made the million list but pretty much as expected

I'm not saying Epic don't have exclusives they created/funded, I'm saying them buying games that would've come out regardless isn't a tactic that benefits consumers - while actually leading to the creation of new games will.

Epic published Fortnite, they have the capability to become a publisher of games now, and while Valve barely release games of their own now (which I am hoping EGS will push them to do), they don't spend money to prevent other platfo...

Nothing wrong with competition but Epic isn't doing the kind of competition that benefits the consumer. Buying exclusives at the last minute isn't the same as funding or creating exclusive games, so they're only paying to force people into using their store. Would much rather Epic incentivise people to use their store through actually having a hand in the development of games they could sell as exclusives, or maybe if their lower cut on game sales could be a way for cheaper prices...

There's more to accessibility than hardware though. Subtitles and how clear they are to read should be considered, colour blind options, motion blur etc. Also until Sony and Nintendo have their own adaptive controllers then developers should try to at least have accessibility options within the controllers already available though things like remappable buttons for their games.

In terms of difficulty though then developers can do what they want - not every game should b...

Hoping they make a new game instead of a remake. The PS2 games have aged really well and the remake was inferior, so some new ideas would be much better.

@Elwenil
Thank you for taking the time to respond. The lines between GaaS and DLC are really blurred. As far as I'm aware, the definition of GaaS is post launch monetised content being released to further sell a game well after launch, which isn't always releasing a gimped game to fix it later on. I'll admit Borderlands 1 and 2 are games you can enjoy as complete games without needing to purchase more, but I don't really see how they're that different from games ...
