@Obelisk92 Another accurate score if we're being honest XVI was boring as hell outside of the bosses
I'm looking at their reviews this year and the only extreme outliers I see are Starfield which got a 6 (which let's be real is a fair enough score), Lies of P at 5 (which is a crime I'll give you that lol), Crash Team Rumble at 4 (which nobody cared about) and Kirby's Return to Dreamland at 5.
Damn I can't believe Metro didn't join the hive mind on a game I haven't played yet. How dare you Metro
I was pretty excited to play Spider-Man and didn't install the day one patch the first session I played (since it was 40gb). Without the day one patch the game was very buggy and looked rough in performance mode.
Not to knock the game for this, post patch it's a night and day difference and I haven't seen any bugs since, though this might explain a lot of the bugs people are seeing, and this opens the door to some disingenuous narrative about the state of the ga...
It's likely 4K to allow for better CRT filters, which will make the games look a whole lot better
I do too, it doesn't mean a game shouldn't be a game with rules, especially when this article states its ideas as objective improvements all players would want. There are other games you can play if you don't want to play this one, and the length of time to beat this after dying and dying is probably equal or shorter than most AAA games these days.
This kinda just reads like they want the game easier, especially the point on being able to skip the first phase on two phase bosses. The endurance of being able to keep enough healing items for when you get to the second phase is a fun challenge and it allows a level of mastery one-phase bosses don't always expect of you
I mean I don't know why they bothered apologising in the first place the game looked terrible since it was announced, if you bought the Gollum game that's on you buddy
I don't think GTA4 has a resolution boost so there might be an issue where the game couldn't handle both a Res and FPS boost at a consistent framerate, but I'm not sure how powerful the emulator is.
Bit of a weird issue with this as there was no point in a native port before since BC was on par with the PS4Pro/5 (or better considering the multiplayer), but now 60fps is on the table a port may be necessary - a hard sell given the original is still available and ...
Yes. I cannot wait to play more Starfield™ through my Xbox™ Game™ Pass™ Ultimate ™ subscription which allows me to play Starfield™ via Windows™ PC, Xbox™ Consoles and XCloud™

Supposedly the dodge but so far I'm finding the parry to be a lot more reliable
I knew from that matrix demo that unreal 5 wasn't very good for these consoles. Controversial but after some of the games that came out this year I think I preferred when there were cross gen games because these games with these ugly upscaling systems and inconsistent framerates end up looking worse than if they just had PS4 graphics but high Res and 60fps. Just don't make the games cross gen so you can take advantage of the SSD.
It's also possible that another game is being worked on and this is another wrong game at the wrong time situation like with MP Federation Force and Diablo Immortal. If that's the case I don't know why they reveal and release these spinoff games before the games the fans actually want
I wonder if his refusal to delay the game had part in this, as the launch issues seem to overshadow the game's reputation more than the positive reviews
They're releasing too many games at once, most of which kinda suck. Even the games that aren't bad like Triangle Strategy and Octopath 2 have similar games releasing close to it like Diofield Chronicles and to a lesser extent Bravely Default 2.
FF16 while it's pretty fun doesn't feel like a next gen polished game to me despite what the marketing said. The framerate sucks, the graphics aren't that impressive outside of some of the setpieces, and it's ...
Hopefully all this leads to is that 60fps patch
because what a waste of time this would be otherwise. The difference between Fallout 76 and Redfall is 76 had potential. Redfall is a game nobody wanted by a studio that didn't want to make it - just give it up and move on.
Bit Sus. Hopefully this is a DOOM 2016 situation but this either looks like they're petty or they're lacking confidence - isn't this meant to be their big game?
There's two things I think could've justified the price but one of them is impossible and the other could possibly be rolled out.
If it had a proprietary connection to the PS5 like a Wii U then they could advertise the low latency as an improvement to phone/PC remote play - but it's clear the PS5 wasn't designed with this in mind so this isn't an option.
Meanwhile if it could stream PS Plus Premium games without the PS5 then you have ...
You know what actually I'm changing my mind a bit, even though I think the device is stupid and have yet to see a game streaming product be successful, maybe the average person will just get it off the screen and the PlayStation branding. If you know better though there are far better solutions than this
If it took two years for this to break even how long will it take for Alan Wake 2?
