@I_find_it_funny Apart from in my PS3 ;)
Isn't this the same story from earlier?
They've already had the beta ;)
I think this is going to be a giant hit for bethesda/splash damage, with the right advertising. ie. A demo.
Heres a nice analogy for the player count situation: PC BF3= Giant juicy burger full of meat. PS3/XBOX BF3 (with same size maps but 24 players)= "Wheres the meat in this thing!?" PS3/XBOX BF3 (Smaller maps, less players)= "What the hell is this, theres nothing to it!"
As long as consoles have more than 24 players i'll be happy.
The lead level designer on killzone 2 worked/works on brink, along with the level designer who created de_dust.
Its to reduce loading times. In Killzone 2 they actually had active AI fighting each other in the cutscenes. But to be honest whats the difference between real time and in-engine.
Trust me, anyone's whose played it, whether it be at a games convention or in the beta will know it is a serious contender for shooter (maybe even game) of the year.
Brink is the future Cod, Homefront is the future Battlefield.
They will use id Tech 5 for the next COD.
I probably shouldn't be saying this but f*** it. I was in the beta on the PS3 and the game has the potential to be HUGE. The balance is good, the game looks and sounds beautiful, you never feel lost or confused, the combination of character size, character class and character abilities gives you loads options about how you want to play the game. The only complaints I had was the weapons had a tad too much spread and the respawn time in certain situations was slightly too long.
The guy who made de_dust is also working on Brink.
All that footage is old though.
Where is the gameplay!?
All we need now is new gameplay.
I think its interesting how there is a hammer sound. Hinting at Sledgehammer developing MW3?
Communism, COMMUNISM I SAY!
This may of been answered but what OS does the NGP run.
So am I, good thing Brink is different.
