we think 8 is a very good score, we think a 7 is a good score, and we think a 6 is an average, and a 5 is probably not worth playing.

3) my point was you dont feel like YOU want to, as the gamer, because he's so unlikeable, so it doesn't make sense to the gamer

We looked at the cost of the game, how much fun we actually had playing such an old game, and thought it was fare. It's always hard scoring, and it's so subjective.. I think our words still speak for the love of it, roping your opinion to a number isn't the best way to determine value which is why we try to so game footage that matches our discussion, so you can make your own minds up.
It is still a masterpiece, but we scored ithe hdrelease comparatively for today. To us a 7 is a good score.
