Did you look at the picture? It shows a large portion of the cast of SF4, plus Retsu. It's pretty convincing.
Do you guys think this will be at Evo this year?
I think the reason that people attack the Wii U (and Nintendo in general) is because we all know that Nintendo has so much potential. But they just can't seem to get their act together. They are behind the curve on the internet, on tech, on marketing, on the digital marketplace, etc. Nintendo has been a deer in the headlights of this industry for a long, long time.
Everyone knows that Nintendo makes great games. Everyone wants to play Nintendo games, but it's hard...
Spot on. In my opinion, Nintendo doesn't understand the marketplace right now. So many of their decisions are just baffling.
I totally see your point, even though you're exagerrating a little. I kind of think this is just a problem inherent in sequels in long-running franchises. At some point, innovating is too risky.
So much easier to stick to the formula, because that's what people have been buying, and will continue to buy. Innovation comes in the form of new IPs.
Hmm. I don't like this look for the game. It has that generic 2-D/3-D hybrid look. Reminds me of Wayforward's Ducktales, which in turn reminds me of Clockwork Knight.
I definitely would have preferred 2-D sprites because, honestly, that's what I thought we were getting.
Everyone disagreed with you but you are totally right. If you don't like the gameplay in GTA, then why would you like it in Saints Row? The differences are superficial, they play almost exactly the same.
I enjoyed this rant, loved it when he held up the bread slice for a comparison. I laughed out loud, thanks for the video!
The new graphics look fine, but the soundtrack sounds off to me. It's very tinny. Hopefully there will be an option to turn off the "remastered" music. Or maybe they will re-remaster it, because this is a step backwards.
Coal bags as blankets, huh? Those sound like hard times. You should write a book, GreenRanger.
ME3 a colossal failure? Not to me it wasn't. It wasn't the best in the series, but I still think it was a solid game. I enjoyed it enough to play through it twice.
I don't think David's a very strong character at all. He's just a one-dimensional villain. I read your article and just don't see why you think he's anything special.
It would have been more interesting to me if he really was just a leader of survivors whose men were senselessly killed by Joel and Ellie. But he's not that. He is, in fact, just another videogame homicidal maniac. The player never empathizes with David. There are no signs that the...
It is most likely the new update for SSF4AE: 2013. But that would make for a pretty ho-hum unveiling, since it was announced months ago. Maybe they're adding a new character?
Still, probably SF4, you're right. And there's nothing wrong with that. I am in the minority, but I'm glad Capcom keeps supporting their games. If they didn't keep updating SF4 I don't think so many people would still be playing it. Looking forward to the announcement!
You could play Monster Hunter Tri online on the original wii. I remember the community there being one of the friendliest I've ever seen in an online game.
Monster Hunter fans are super nice.
"It’s become a slapstick dose of noisy annual nonsense with an arcade multiplayer mode attached."
I think it's more like an arcade multiplayer mode with a campaign attached. Multiplayer is the lifeblood of the franchise, the campaign is irrelevant.
I think your post here as well as the one below bring up some interesting points. Whether you're right or not, I can't say. But I do know that I've OFTEN wondered what the hell Nintendo was thinking with just about every major design choice they've made since opting to use cartridges with the N64. Every announcement I hear from them sounds like folly, and yet they always turn a profit.
The way you put it, their business acumen seems quite shrewd. I hope yo...
Wow. Is this considered funny? What's next, Ron Burgundy? Jokes about chickens crossing roads?
