Whats being discussed here is that the ps3 going into this very important holiday with a 399 plus tax system versus a 199 system, what you get more with one or not is not at question here.
My point is the economy, mindset,economy, mindset is not good right now, and while people will still buy epensive things and peopole will shop this season , peoples pockets are tight and they are starting to think...

R2 is also very good so far, first level was amazing.
I could care less, if somehow ms and bungie parted ways, then great, if not then great.
if bungie was to make games for the ps3 then great, if not no big deal.
at this point i want to see great games by great devs on both systems.
also what happens to live when home arrives, i havent used home but isnt it suppose to add the ability to cross invite and basicaly do whatever you can in live.
If home and its xmb access lets you bounce around with friends like the 8 party on live and its free then will ms have to make live free.

I have the 60 gig model, and its more then enough for many many game installs and for demos and everything else.
the 20 to 40 gig i can see getting full but 60 and above is just right.
the arguement can be said about the the 360 since the option to install is there, at least witht eps3 you can bump up the hd to 250gig for 80 bucks, cant do that with the 360

ITs very simple, they say this now and for a year i dont expect any cuts in price, but
if sony drops price and gains to much ground expect ms to follow suit, and it will happen its just when will it happen.

The problem with bringing lower prices to certain games is that unlesss its a hit it will tank in sales.
but last gen they did it with 2k6 i think, it was the best footbal game and arrived at 39 bucks. I dont mind paying 60 bucks for big games like r2,gears2 etc.. but other games just arent worth 60 bucks.
