I dont know about you guys but i`m buying a PS3 to play PS3 games and personally dont give a $hit about backwards compatibility coz i still have my PS2 even though i cant see it ever getting used again. I know some of you dont want the " 2 consoles under the tv " thing but hey ..are you buying a PS3 to mostly play PS2 games or what it was actually made for ? .

I agree with AllroundGamer that its a rip off having to pay money to MS just to play online . Charge for extra for XBLA games , movies ,tv etc but not for online play on a game you just paid £39.99 for..that just SuX .

nambo we all have things we like doing and the MMO feel/look of home does it for me . As for virtual home decorating and virtual girlfriend .. i really dont think the wife would appreciate that seeing as she has to put a bomb under me to decorate and the girlfriend thing just wouldnt go down too great . You see i really like to do other thing rather than just game game game so maybe you should get yourself a RL girlfriend and have some sex and maybe you`ll find theres more to life than games ...
I am not saying the XBL has less content than PSN , we both know thats not the case but what i am saying is XBL is basic in looks and thats where Sony takes over. In a year from now maybe you`ll be singing a different tune or maybe i will ... but i doubt it will be the latter.

As a huge Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis fan ,this is probably the biggest thing on my "cant wait for " list . Am a bit of a MMORPG fan so a combination of Stargate and MMO is right up my street... perfect :)
