Thanks, those are interesting facts indeed, even if some of them are not directly related to simulation. I mean, as a Williams fan I love TAG Heuer liveries, but I don't think that their presence impacts how accurately cars are reproduced. The exclusive release of concepts cars is pretty cool though.
Asseto Corsa milestones are not that impressive, but the work they have made to capture the feedback of real cars is at an obsessive level, particularly wi...
If you're into actual hardcore simulators, why Gran Turismo over Asseto Corsa or iRacing? Just curious
Looking nice, but I'll still take my time to buy it again
Yeah... Good luck pursuing new... opportunities
I really want to try BG3 but it's a shame that they didn't dropped the price a penny during Summer sale. I'm still playing deadfire and next in the queue is Divinity II so no hurries. I'll wait for a discount or for a full release, whatever happens first.
Amazing work as always, ID, Bethesda or whoever is making doom atm. I'd love to see other studios achieving this level of optimization.
I've been expecting this and actually I'm happy to pay this time. The original free to play game was awesome
Despite how evil can Facebook be, the Quest 2 is an amazing device for the price. I got one last year and I'm completely satisfied. Games become an incredible experience on VR, I think it's undeniable after the HL Alyx milestone
Man, that logo :')
I started playing it last year. Amazing game, specially with friends
I agree with you about resolution not being crucial, but I wouldn't neglect the huge step towards photorealism in current games' graphics.
You have a point, but this is not the right place to say it, I'm afraid. Too much fanboyism.
Games are rather expensive nowadays, so I think references are useful when reviewers make their points clear. Of course you shouldn't focus on the score, I've learned to appreciate the games whatever score they get.
Honest review IMO. I loved Automata, but still some sidequests felt kinda pointless. If it's worse in Replicant I think I'll skip it.
I'm loving what they made here. Maybe it's the first RT implementation that is both noticeable but subtle. Indeed, light spreads in a more realistic way now. And personally I don't think it spoils the dark ambience of Metro, actually it reduces the contrast in most parts making it more uniform. Beatiful.
Do we? I'd prefer Namco Bandai to focus on a coherent and compelling plot for the games (T7's definitely was a failure on that regard) before extending to other media. Still it's not mandatory I think, they'd better improve other elements of the game design, and that could probably imply dropping some characters, moves, and mechanics in the next installment.
I don't know why the guy who said that the problem was the comparison with uncharted 2 got so many disagrees. He's completely right. When Enslaved trailer was first shown, Xbox360 fanboys started to pose it as the UC2 killers. And of course, Sony fanboys bashed it when it was released, and it was deemed a disappointment... due to a unnecessary comparison. You don't remember? Check the N4G posts from the year.
Let's hope we can see an update to the graphics. F1 2020 looks almost exactly like 2018 with some tuning in the colour palette.
I loved NA, got 95% of the sidequests, but now I was expecting some improvement in graphics for Replicant... It looks like they're using exactly the same version of the engine (look at the lights). C'mon, it's been 4 years now. A little disappointing.
Ray tracing can or not be a thing. In some games it is night and day, in others it's barely noticeable. The point is, in all honesty, GT7 is not showing a generational leap in graphics, like at all. And most installments in the series (from the first one) used to look like they came from the future. Will it look great? Of course, but you could argue that most games have been looking great from some years now.
