well this certainly spells disaster for the blu-ray format. the Fins have always been on the leading edge of technology, they know what's up.
it's hard not to have mixed emotions when you read an article like this. it's great that Ubisoft and other publishers are going after a bigger audience and trying to grow the industry. but at the same time, i can't help but to worry about what that is going to mean for hardcore gaming in the future.
Will all games in the future be geared towards a 'wider' audience? Will the IP's that we know and love stop getting funding because the more mainstream 'casual' titles will outsell ...
this game is on my must-have list just below Uncharted 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction. A definite day 1 purchase. I can't wait to see what the trophy list looks like.
