I for one didn't get that effected by the missing girl as I don't even live the US. I'm very sorry for the parents but their child is not the only one missing and they are not the only suffering. If everybody in the world would acts logical and rational than we wouldn't have these kind of things.

Well they couldn't call the controller "6 angles of the 3 axis" now could they. There are only three axis as James stated but I think Sony thought Sixaxis would be a good name.
As much as I like Nintendo, I don't think it will push next gen as much as Sony and Microsoft will. By the term "Next Gen" we all think of incorperating the newest harware and software. And frankly said, all of the next gen that has been put in the Wii, is mostly in the controller.

I don't know, so far every PlayStation console came out with a new format. Even the PSP came out with it's own UMD format. I think the PS4 will have a new format too.
Technology is developing at a very rapid speed, it's almost scary. They should take it more easy in my opinion. But with all the competition, every company wants to be ahead of there competitors.
