kinda wierd what you asking. i mean you should buy a ps3 if u feel like u want one and that you want to play any games that are exclusiv to the ps3 or if u want to watch blueray or whatever u feel like you are missing out. i mean i for example believe that 360 has some great games like ME or some RPGs i knowi would enjoy, but i have enough games on my ps3, so i dont see myself getting a 360 anytime soon.
The real question is do u want a ps3? if you realy want one its deffenitly worth ...

i disagree. i think its gonna be quite good. probably not the best, but a very solid and good game.they put so much work in it and its a ff game after all i have never been dissapointed. its not allaways as perfect as 7 but whatever.

nop i have liked all ff. im sure they will go back to diferent kinds of ff battle systems in the future. i hope it doesnt get to action based. but i know im gonna enjoy this game alot.

i would love the warranty, couse my 60gb ylod on me 2 days ago. have a slim now which is cool but still had to pay full price couse of the warranty. the other stuff is cool too. might get this if it comes somehow like that.

crazy talk linear games can be awesome. i love ff games so ill enjoy it for sure. its no ff7 or ff9 but who cares. =D
