the ps3 isn't portable. so your logic is flawed. you still have the choice of the psp-3000 which is portable.

the screen is not cheap its smaller. but the screen is brighter and crisper then the 3000 with no tearing. the battery last as long as the 3000. plus it is replaceable. you just have to call sony.if you need a new one. i love the features they added to the go. the pause save feature the blue tooth feature. they havea new conector now to hook to the computer. no diferent then the i pod has its on connector
i love my go. but sony gives you a choice a go are 3000. i picked...
for me the go works better. with the pause save game feature.it being smaller. and lighter. being able to use the ds3 controller
i have been useing windows 7 rc and i love it its fast. its what vista should have been.it boots up very quicly
i just got my psp go i love it its more portable . the screen may be smaller . buts it is a beautiful screen. and i like down loading no umds to take. plus some of the prices for the games are lower then the umds
ok most people complained about umd. sony removes it. now people complain, i just bought one im going to go down load some games.
even if there is a psp4000 you could down load the games allso. and not have to drag umd around but it gives the person the option. to go down load are umd. plus it adds blue tooth for the ps3 controler and a umd drive to play your old umds so sony wants to offer more then one option

i disagree with you. the more complicated the system the better. look what first party exclusive look like on the ps3. the devs want easy platforms because there lazy and cheap.but the first party devs have made the ps3 sing because it is technologically advanced
