ms should replace all the 360s they knew it was defective day one and only offered a 90 day warranty they only offered 3 years to keep from having a law suit. why do people defend ms for the rrod because they offered 3 years in this day and age with the technology thats out this should have never happened if ms had done it right and delayed the 360 till they fixed it our instead of rushing build it right from the start

i here comments about short games even with bluray.the reason for this is because the game dev creators decided what to put on the bluray if they decided the game was 9 hours long thats not the blurays fault.they may strived for uncompressed graphics are sound and a shorter game but at least they have the room to do it. so if you don't like the short game complain to the devs and creators there the ones who decided how to make the game what length etc etc.and imho i don't thank it would be al...

its not a new chip its a smaller version cheaper less power. its not changing the technology in the ps3 its making it cheaper to produce.most electronic items have that done in the life cycle and it docent change what the product dose.and with most items not advertised.
its called revisions look at car parts if you notice you may have a rev2 and the new part you put on is a rev5 its the same part dose the same thing as the old part but has been revised.
pog your a idiot you don't know what your talking about you need to get your facts straight.the ps 3 uses 512 ram its used in a deferent way then the 360.i'm sick of hearing ports don't look as good on the ps 3 as the x box dose well they were originally written for the x box with there specs not written with the ps3 specs in mind.of course theres going to be differences .but look at unchartered and games written especially for the ps3. and i have never had frame rate issues with my ps3 .
the only problem the ps3 has is lazy devs not wanting to learn the thing. look at what naughty dog has done with unchater they took the time to learn and dev on the ps3 with great results and will be rewarded with big time sells of the game.now if some of these 3rd party devs would shut there mouths and instead study the ps3 they would be able to make some awesome games and then be able to sell them and make a profit.
you cant compare ff on ps1 to todays technology the cd was the biggest medium back then dvd came out about ps2 time .but Microsoft could have used a bigger medium this generation so there would be no need for multi disk.i feel when your building a next gen system you use next gen medium bluray hddvd etc so theirs no excuse for having to use multidisk this day and age

to me ms might be working to fix the rrod but to me it isn't fixed yet all they did was increase the warranty. and coming out with there new sku with the new chip and heat sink.even there there mixing them in with the old skus if Microsoft wanted to make it right. they after the new chip is out recall all the old 360s and replace them with the newer ones and pull the old ones off the shelf when they put the new skus out.
